"When returning the device very little questions were asked and the process seemed it was going to be pretty straightforward. However, that was just the opposite of what I encounter. The return center made me feel I caused the damage since it wasn't initially reported. I should have known better. The return process was so quick and painless. I figured this was normal and accidents happen. I would have supplied pics if requested. Why didn't iFifxit request pics before the return? It seems they could take more ownership of the return process instead of relying on the customer. Which now makes sense why a lot of questions weren't asked up front. It's easier to place the blame of what "I" the customer should have done or said. Very slick move ifixit. I have never been so upset with a company. The best part is that they acted like they did me a favor by returning half my money. I guess I will see if that even happens at this point. Keep this type of service up and your other loyal customer with go elsewhere. The best part is the customer has a voice in these types of situations. I really hope you are listening ifixit. Please don't make your future customers go through this."

"Replacing a MacBook Air battery is so easy that ANYONE can do it. I have 2 MacBook Airs that both needed new batteries. My wife watched me do the first one, it was so easy (took about 8 minutes) she wanted to try. She couldn't believe how easy it was and thought playing with the little screws & screwdrivers was like being a jeweler! Bottom line is it really is very simple so no one should be scared away from doing this themselves.

Apple doesn't seem to want to update their MacBook Air line. I've had 6 total MacBook Airs (4 in the family now) and after 2 years they need new batteries... so it's great to find that iFixit has great batteries with similar quality to APPLE, and they are a very good value. No need to shop the internet for Apple laptop batteries- I've done that and they aren't worth squat.

I'll be coming to iFixit every time I need a new laptop battery from now on."

"Praise the Lord, I am A happy man !!! This old iPod was dropped in my driveway with out notice. Found it three hours later and it had been raining hard. No response to the controls after 48 hours over the dehumidifier, oh crap. It would respond when connected to a charger. Purchased the battery after watching your video several times. The best tip was the one about the "beer can" cut up. Used the aluminum to prevent the catches from closing after being pried open. The old girl came back to life after the heart (battery) transplant and I am one happy 72 year old fart. Can't thank you enough.

"I bought an old item to fix a Imac and the item was sent almost immediately and arrived safely and in proper order. The tutorial was very helpful and I managed to service the computer without problems. If I may suggest something, I missed a less expensive way of posting the item. Although Fedex delivery was perfect, it has a price. I thought Ifixit could offer a slower but less costly mailing alternative, which, since I was in no hurry, would fit me better."

"The kit is of great quality and includes (almost) everything needed for basic repair jobs.
The only things I'd like to see in the kit are:
- Some sort of cleaning brush.
- Some sort of screws tray. The lid for the bits do the job, but it would be awesome if it was magnetic or had separated rooms so you can sort each screw type together. The lid has some square sections in it that works, but I'd like to see them just a bit taller and cover more of the lid.
- A magnetic backplate for the bit box, again, for screws and such.

These three points aside, I love the kit and it's well worth the money.

One side note: Import taxes can get rather steep depending on your country. I had to pay 333 NOK (Approx 35 EUR) for the import taxes, but this is not IFIXITs fault."
