"Descriptions of Items were not clear. I had to send two items back and was forced to pay shipping then, on 3/7/2015, had order in cart for over $80. On order page offer stated FREE SHIPPING on orders over $75. also 15% off entire. I added one other item before placing and system defaulted to where I had to pay for shipping. I cancelled order as Beverly stated via chat the next morning offer expired. I have been buying many items from Monoprice recently to find their customer service not helpful. I have also referred several friends to Monoprice. Other companies I deal with, such as BH Photo are much better with help and customer service."

Cables are cables --- they either work or they don't so no need to spend top $$$$ on NameBrand cables from your local big box store. The prices are great, and product quality is solid.
And on the couple rare occasions I had an issue or problem with a product, customer service is always quick to respond either by e-mail or live chat.
What puts them "over-the-top" though in my book is the 1 year warranty ... they'll offer to set up an RMA/replacement at no cost to me up to a year after the purchase. Can't beat that!"

"Monoprice has the worst customer service I ever experienced. I ordered an item that was on there website and at the time when I ordered it the price seemed to good to be true. I ordered it and right away contacted monoprice to verify that I would be getting what I ordered. I spoke with a rep and the rep assured me that I would be receiving what I ordered. I then received four emails confirming my purchase. The next day I received an email saying that my order was being refunded as per my request which was complete BS because I never asked for a refunded and it also stated that I had refused the item upon delivery which was also complete BS because the item never made it to my residents. Wait it get better then I received an email stating that if I wanted a refund that I would have to return the items that were never delivered to my home. Monoprice did absolutely nothing to make sure that I got the service that any retail company that wants to survive in the retail world would provide they made a mistake and knew that they made a mistake and there exact words were don't worry sir we are refunding your purchase and kept saying this at every turn they thought that they were doing me a favor by refunding my money WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE ! "

"We purchased a cable from Monoprice, with a deadline to get it. They got it to us within the short time frame with no problems, going out of their way to change my shipping option so we would get it on time.
After we got it, there was a problem with the cable, not their fault, and they went out of their way to help us get it returned, track it down when it didn't get out on UPS as it should have, and got us our refund immediately.
