"Monoprice has overall good products at a fare price. Many are designed for DIY projects. Prices for cable and connectors are better than average. Likewise the varied connectors and premade cable are good quality and value priced. Shipping & handling are charged, unfortunately, they don't have a buy over x dollars and shipping is free. Also, delivery is made from CA and many times is delayed by their internal processing. IE: ordering a item with 2 day shipping because it was needed early the next week. Ordered on Friday 18th, but wasn't started processing until Monday 21st, was held another day then shipped the 22nd with the 2 day shipping so it came Thursday afternoon. (IE Just under a week) With that exception they are a good organization."

"Beware of Extremely high Customs/Brokerage fees for Canadian orders. My items value was approximately $45. Standard shipping would have been $15. I paid for the UPS Expedited Shipping $35, so all customs/brokerage fees would be included. They ended up charging me another $30 at the door. That was $65 shipping charges in lieu of $45 of products. Monoprice needs to step up and do their own customs clearance like many other big companies do. This was my first order and most probably my last as neither side did anything to rectify."
