"The WORST! This place would be bad even if they were not competing with Zappos, but in comparison they are appallingly bad. They sent me a coupon through my email for 25% off and it expired Monday so Sunday night I tried using it and it didn't work. I complained. They were not helpful at all. They were like nah, we're not going to let you use that even though it had not expired. I'm annoyed so I just don't buy the shoes, but then a week later, they have a sale that saves me less than the coupon, but includes free shipping and Zappos did not have the shoes and shoes.com didn;t have them in my size. So I buy them here. That was TWO WEEKS AGO and they still have not arrived. I will NEVER EVER do business with these fools again."

unbelievably miserable experience. I do several thousands of dollars of online shopping a year and made a BIG mistake ordering from this company. A pair of shoes I ordered did not fit so I went on their website and did an online exchange. They generated a ups label that I printed and put on the package and put the other 1/2 in the package and dropped off at ups. The new shoes I ordered in the exchange went through. I was charged in full for them (minus shipping because of exchange) and they arrived. fine... but 1 month later still NO credit for my return. so I call and say please give me the tracking # of the ups label you generated on YOUR website. they reply "Sorry a third party takes care of that. We don't have the tracking #." Okay so how do we contact the third party to get the tracking #? "Sorry, we have no information on that"
BEWARE they have no problem charging for new item but finding the returned package and crediting my account is VERY DIFFICULT for them.

"It sucks. Do not buy shoes here. They are no Zappos. Wow did they screw me. After last year, which was horrific for me, I lost my job and couldn't go find another one due to my Dad falling down from a stroke. He died. So you can imagine how happy and elated I was to get a job in New Zealand. But it's winter there and I needed boots. So I got on the onlineshoes.com site and bought about $1200 worth of boots. The thing is my BF bought them as a celebration, send off present. BUT they thought because I was having them sent to SF, and he lived in LA and used his credit card there that we were committing some kind of fraud. And that's okay but they would say the boots were coming and they were not. The customer service people would be hesitant and militant and treated me like something was wrong. That was disconcerting. They acted like they didn't believe my story of my new job, BF buying yadda yadda. The bad thing was they kept saying we have to talk to him. And they did and he verified it was all okay. But then wouldn't send the boots. Weeks went by and now I am getting on the phone, when I should be readying to leave the country to explain over and over to either send the boots, or let me know so I can shop for them. I was so frustrated. Hours on the phone. Probably 5 phone calls. So finally they believe that it's not a scam and send the boots at the last minute. Probably won't get to my house for me to try on in time before I get on a plane. But they assure me they will.But they didn't. So now I am in NZ, no boots, because I didn't have time, and there are $1,200 dollars worth of boots there I have never seen that need returning. SO now I am paying interest to my BF for his AMEX charge til I can sort out who can go to my home, package up the boots and send them back for a credit. DON'T SHOP THERE. What should have been a good gift from my BF which I never got, turned into a nightmare. And still is. Any guesses if I can ever get to the boots there if they will return them? "

"I am baffled by some of the low ratings here for this vendor. The only problem I have had with onlineshoes.com is the unavoidable one when buying shoes online - you can't try the shoes on first and so when they arrive, they may not fit or they may not look like you expected.
Other than that, I find this vendor to be phenomenal - the best I've shopped at. Their website has excellent selection tools so that you can quickly find the style, brand, color, and size you want. They have a huge selection. They keep track of the shoes you've recently looked at so you can find them again easily.
Furthermore, they have the most amazingly fast shipping I've ever seen. The first time I bought a pair of shoes I was astonished to receive them about four days later. It's not always that fast, but it often is.
I think the return policy is very reasonable. First of all, you have full year in which to return or exchange a purchase, and if you do, you only pay for return shipping ($6, I think) if you want a refund. Since shipping is FREE on original purchases, I think this is very fair. If they didn't have this policy, they could go broke with people ordering 10 pairs of shoes and returning 9 of them for refunds. They make returns very easy by letting you print a return shipping authorization right on your computer.
I have called their customer service line for help a couple of times, and a real person (who speaks English) answers and gets you your answer fast.
I have no relationship whatsoever with onlineshoes.com other than as a customer. I was just really surprised to see them get such a low rating on this site and I wanted to help get the real information out there."
"I am battling with this company right now to be credited the proper amount for an exchanged pair of shoes. I purchased a pair during a 20% discount time and gave them as a gift about a month later. I needed to exchange them to a different size and was forced to purchase a new pair and await a credit once the returned pair was received. They credited me the original 20% off price rather than the full price of the exchanged pair. I don't know of any business that would charge you full price for an exchange rather than the original purchase price at a discounted rate. I will never do business with them again."
"I have had nothing but problems ordering from Onlineshoes.com. I recieved one pair of the two shoes I ordered.....going on week 3 for the second pair and it has only been two days since I got the first pair. Not only does there service suck but there return policy is a joke as well. Why should I have to purchace another pair of shoes just to exchange for a different size???? Have there ever heard of "store credit" That how Zappos does it! If you have a good month to wait for your shoes and you expectations aren't to high go for it, but I will be shopping with Zappos from now on."

I called them up they were very helpful and made sure i would get the same price once returned no charge. I mailed the shoes back, and didn't hear from anyone for over 10 days. I finally called and they said they got the shoes and wanted to know what the problem was. "i didn't get the shoes i ordered!" "I've ordered from them before and it came in 2 days (ground shipping) from Ohio to New Jersey. Its prices are on par with other e-stores, but I use Discover CashBack and get 15% back, so I chose OnlineShoes.
Now, I just ordered some new dress shoes for $165 and it still hasn't been delivered. I ordered another item, which they shipped, so I'm happy with that. But come on, spending $165, I should have them next day. I'm sure Zappos would next-day ship it, but they don't offer cashback. Apparently they order them directly from the manufacturers because both pairs of shoes shipped at different times and from different places. The first pair got here quickly, but I have yet to get the second because of bad weather in Massachusetts, which I know is not their fault. Overall, I guess they're good, but I prefer Zappo's. I just find it annoying that they go through all of this trouble (contacting manufacturer, etc.) instead of shipping the shoes directly."
