"We love our new iMac! PowerMax provided us with several custom quotes and shipped the product promptly. Overall we are extremely happy with our purchase. However, they did ship the wrong keyboard with our order and it took several emails back and forth, with the sales rep initially telling us that we would have to be charged for the correct keyboard and our account would be refunded after we returned the "wrong" keyboard to them. In the end, the supervisor stepped in and authorized the return without charging our card for their error.

"Joe Inman took my phone order after I found the product I needed online at PowerMax.com. The website had said the item was back ordered, so I was calling to see how long it would take for delivery. Not only did Joe say that I would not be charged until it was shipped, he also sent several follow-up emails apprising me of the progress in getting the product from Japan, where production was delayed because of the earthquake. To have a salesman deal with me on such a personal level was a first. I will definitely do business with PowerMax again. "

"I found myself in the market to sell my current laptop and upgrade to a newer one. I was thinking of going the Craiglist way and hoping for the best while clinching the whole time. I don’t even remember how I ran across Powermax but I’m glad I did.
They offered a great trade-in program by mail and a more than fair amount for my existing laptop against something they sold.

The very helpful person that contacted me was the same person that answered all of my questions. Sometimes even on a weekend. And eventually that same person that handled the transaction when I found the system that I wanted to purchase.

This is a great company and an even better online concept.. Something you might like to find on the local corner, might not have the option or means but have internet access.

I can’t honestly recommend many online merchants as most of them are too automated or not attentive to customer needs or desires. Most online outlets are totally focused on selling merchandise for the cheapest price possible because that’s all they can offer. You can’t really ask Amazon what they think about the new 13” Mac Book Air solid state as opposed to the hard drive model. You can only hope that some consumer sentiment provides you with the information you are looking for, and yeah, and we know how that usually works. That’s where these folks have an edge.

I have had a great experience so far with the folks at Powermax in Portland and look forward to going back for other nifty Apple stuff.
