"This seller is a joke of a "businessman" and a human. I should've looked up the reviews prior to purchasing from him. Most unresponsive and careless seller ever.
I was looking for a particular US PS2 power board for my PAL PS2 and he is the only one on the internet who carries it so I was glad to come across it. I pay for my item with priority shipping which includes tracking and receive an email confirmation as one would expect. But afterwards, I decided to read the reviews and immediately regretted my purchase.
I noticed he has not responded on either of his email addresses, the one on his website and the one on his PayPal account, and he STILL does not have an active phone number which according to these reviews has not worked in two years nor has he ever called back. I call and it immediately tells me "the Magic Jack customer you have called is unavailable". He also claims he is having issues with the email hosting service hence why he doesn't respond to my emails.
Furthermore, the seller also has an eBay account which he has been a member of since 1998 and on which he only ever responded to me once. But to my amazement it actually has an abundance of positive feedback within the last month, 350 to be exact which indicate receipt of items that have been ordered. Is this a joke??? He also has links to his Facebook page in both his website's order confirmation email and on his actual website, which is not available either.....shocker. He also claims in his negative feedback on his eBay account that he never gets responses when the buyer says they tried to email. I find that hard to believe.
I did get a couple responses from him, however. One was on ebay apologizing for being slow due to the pandemic and juggling both eBay and the website, and even asking for my order number which I kindly provided. I still never received any updates. But the first response, unsurprisingly, was during the PayPal dispute I had opened. So don't give me this BS about having trouble with the email hosting service when you literally respond the same day an hour later on one of your emails. All he said was "our business is fine and active - did you want a refund? Or do you want the item? Thanks". Really? He responds to that but not the 2 emails and 2 eBay messages?? I don't think that could be more of a vague and unprofessional response. He's willing to refund me but accepts orders knowing full-well he'll never ship? My order's details page never displayed a status. Orders usually say "Processing" before they're shipped. Mine was merely a blank space for 2 weeks.
It's funny and ironic how the only time he responds is during a time when a buyer is trying to get their money back as if that's going to make him any more of a reputable seller, which he, evidently, is not, or get me to believe I'm going to get what I ordered. He apologizes like it carries any weight as if I'm going to feel bad for being impatient. If he was a genuine businessman he would act quickly to avoid losing money and be opposed to getting PayPal or banks involved. I still can't wrap my around him being active on eBay but a ghost and unresponsive on his website.
Avoid this guy at all costs, literally. I'm surprised no one has taken action against him or his site. It just sits and collects money while buyers only realize after the fact and are forced to resort to PayPal or their bank to resolve the issue. An issue that could have been avoided if the seller wasn't such a scammer and would just give people what they paid for or at the very least was responsive. The two 5-star Google reviews claiming a good experience don't convince me otherwise (Esai sounds like he's full of s***) nor does the other 5-star review claiming to be his daughter which he probably told her to write or wrote himself.
My PayPal dispute was resolved and refunded in a timely manner. This guy couldn't give any less a crap considering this nonsense is still happening 2 years later. Looks like I'm gonna be buying that voltage converter after all. Thanks for wasting my time, Richard."
"I recently purchased a casing for my Sony PSP from this vendor. I paid a higher price than other retailers because this site advertised these cases as being OEM SONY products. Upon receipt of the casing, I found it to be identical to the 10 dollar knock-off casings that come from various other retailers. Beware of this vendor's advertising and products. It is also proving impossible to contact this vendor as it seems all of the e-mail addresses and phone numbers are useless."
"Do not order from this site. I repeat - DO NOT ORDER. Seller is unresponsive. He is either dead or don't care. Or maybe both? I ordered the simplest thing - battery lid covers for Nintendo's Wii remote on Dec 8. Of course - he charged instantly.
Five days later my order hasn't been shipped. I tried contacting him - through THREE different e-mails and on the phone. He did not respond.

"I placed an online order with richspsxparts on 4/11/16, and received an e-mailed order confirmation. Never received the part or any additional updates so I e-mailed their service address for status and an update on 4/18/16 - no response. Then later tried calling and left two messages 4/25/16 at the ph#, and no response.
It's been over a month and I have no idea where my order stands, or if they are even in operation.

"Purchased a Blu Ray drive for my PS3. Was sold to me as a New item off the website. Received the drive and installed that night. It worked for one night and then stopped working. I sent an email to company with no response. Opened a paypal case since I purchased through them. He ignored this as well. Paypal is siding with me and I have sent back the drive. I ordered another drive, from a different company, and it works perfect. Confirms that the drive he sold me was bunk. Have seen other reports that he was pawning off old drives as new. "
"Ordered an OEM PSP-1000 faceplate for $29.99, received a 3rd party part that is not Oem, and could have been purchased elsewhere for $5-$10 if I had desired a 3rd party part. Overall the part fit and looks ok, but certainly not as well as an official Sony part. I feel it is not worth the time or hassle to try to return it, I would much rather warn others to beware "OEM" parts from this site are likely to be way overpriced knockoff parts of lower quality than original. On the bright side shipping was free and very fast! "

"I was a little skeptical ordering some parts from this website as I have read some bad reviews, but I must say I am very pleased with my purchase from them. Recently my ps3 power button would not work so I had to replace the little pcb board as well as the ribbon cable under the top case. I could of ordered it off ebay but most if not all sellers selling the parts were in China meaning a 2-3 week (or longer due to holidays) wait. I wanted to buy from a place that was in the US and richspsxparts.com seemed to be the only place. I went ahead and purchased both items and spent close to $40 bucks. The free shipping was a deal and I got my item today Dec. 18. Both items worked and now my ps3 works again.
Bottom line- richpsxparts prices may be pricey but the wait time is very short if you are in a hurry to get a part. They also take credit cards if you don't have a paypal account. I will be buying my parts from them from now on. "

"I ordered a replacement laser for ps2 slim after following Richs troubleshooting guide. This didn't fix the problem. no response to emails and their phone wouldn't accept messages. After a paypal dispute I was contacted. I returned the part and sent my ps2 to them for repair. After 3 weeks, I emailed to inquire as to the status of said ps2. 3 days later they responded and said they would look at it that day. Waited another week then contacted them again and was told they had repaired the unit but were awaiting payment. That same day they submitted the payment request. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Terrible customer service, no communication, excuses, delays, and an overall horrible experience."
