"Upon locating a refurbished Jabra BT 250V on Thrifty Computers web site that was “guaranteed” I ordered it immediately.
It arrived in a timely manner but never worked like its predecessor - the earphone speaker was “crackly”.
Thrifty then sent a replacement that had volume problems.
Next time it took multiple attempts to call through - they apologized and sent another.
I specifically requested the device be tested to confirm viability prior to shipment. After a delay, a “new” one arrived – it does not work at all~!
I give up Thrifty Computer - you got my money......... this time.
5-4-11 Several days ago a polite Thrifty Executive contacted me and agreed to refund my money in full.
Thanks Thrifty......now I will give you another try!"

"They communicate very well with their customers, and ensure total satisfaction of their product. ThriftyComputer sold me a Griffin Streamline Sport Armband that was compatible with my ipod nano 3rd generation. I purchased it from them at a great price, and with free shipping who can complain!! The armband is a great accessory to have at the gym, and worth investing in for those runs on the treadmill or outdoors. You never have to worry about your ipod jumping out of your hand or coming out of your pocket, and it looks great. It is fashionable, and functionable.

"My experience had the good and the bad.
The good. My order was processed promptly, and customer service was responsive to every contact that I made.
The bad. I ordered an unlocked phone and the phone I received was locked. They provided a return postage paid label and promised a replacement. When I received the replacement, it was an older model that I did not want. They apologized for the error , sent another return postage paid label and promised to correct the error. Then, they advised me that the phone that I ordered was no longer in stock, so they asked me to choose an alternate phone, even if it was worth a little more. I chose an alternate phone, not the one that I really had wanted and I received it promptly and it seems fine. They seem like nice people who try hard, but..... I would use them again if the price was right, because they did try very hard to make things right."

"Bought an open box Motorola RAZR V3. Best price I could find. It was obviously refurbished though that wasn't clear to me in the description. Doesn't really matter.
Arrived quickly with a hassle free purchase. Overnight shipping and handling was cheaper than any other.
The phone was unlocked as described and though it comes up with the Cingular logo and the like it's now using my T-Mobile account.
**HOWEVER** it arrived loose in an ATT REMANUFACTURED EQUIPMENT box inside a larger box. No padding in the inside box and the cell phone and charger were banging together loose. Fortunately there was no damage to the refurbished cell phone which could have occurred from the AC charger prongs dinging the phone."

"I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I went to the site, but they had great prices on open-box and refurbished phones, so I thought I would take a chance. And that began my customer service story.
The phone I ordered wouldn't work with my carrier, so I had to return it. They refunded my whole spend less shipping and let me exchange for another phone. When my new phone arrived, I discovered the camera didn't work and mentioned it to customer support. They promptly sent out a new phone and a return shipping label, no questions or complaints, no need to see the original item.
What's really astounding about their customer support is the personal level of interaction. Where some companies feel like you're basically interacting with a computer, being pushed through forms and automated processes, I felt I was communicating with the same person throughout the return process. I emailed on Sunday evening once and I got an immediate response. I don't know how they do it. They must be working all the time.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good deal on an open box/secondhand phone."

"I ordered two Iphones, through this company. Placed the order on a Sunday, shipped by UPS 2nd Day Air, and arrived by Wednesday, as anticipated. Phones were refurbished, but looked LIKE NEW, in the box, with instructions and charger. Price was the best I found on the net, for iphones in this condition. When I return to the US in May, I will buy two more, if any are left."
