"Was told out of stock so I called and cancelled order. Next day they shipped half of order anyway, charged me for full order. Now won't let me return for refund. They ignore emails, no recourse through Paypal. Awful experience!"
"I ordered a 22 Piece Axle Socket Set from the website on 12/11/18. The product was advertised as 22pc axle socket set with a display board. Two days later, I received one medium sized box containing only 11 sockets. I called customer service, spoke with a very nice customer service rep, sent her pictures of what we received. I was told that in order to be sent a whole new, COMPLETE set, I had to send back what I had. First red flag. I complied with the return procedures, packed up what I had and sent it back. Several days later, I received two boxes, one with the display board, and one with only 11 sockets. Ironically, it was exactly what I was missing the first go around. Immediately reached out to my initial customer service rep and told her what was going on. She told me 1/3 of the shipment didn't leave the warehouse and she was going to call them and inquire as to why. Well, with the holidays, countless times tracking a package that said "in transit' for 3 plus weeks here we are: I have STILL not received the initial box that I had and was told to send back. I am now being told to once again send back what I have in order to receive a new set. $448 order and I have been waiting a month for it. I will NEVER order from this site again. While the customer service rep I dealt with was very apologetic and easy to talk to, the warehouse is awful and I feel the policies they have are sketchy to say the least. I am just waiting to be told I am not eligible for a refund because so much time has gone by. TERRIBLE."

"Ordered several items only received a small portion of the order within a week. Only after calling them I was told a common set of Allen keys was on back- order for 3 to four weeks and the rest of the order was being shipped directly from the manufacturer 7 days after placing the order with tool source. Their website stated my order would be processed the same day. This will be the last time I order from this company!"
"Tool was misrepresented on website. Picture and description showed complete tool but when I ordered it they said it was only for part of the tool. I called and they said it was my mistake, but shortly after I called them they changed the picture on the website. They took the tool back but I had to pay return shipping and I lost out on working on a good customer's car. Will never order from them again!"

"This is the slowest most useless scan tool I have ever owned. I currently own a 13 yr old Mac taskmaster(otc), a GM tech ll also made by otc and previously a snap on brick all blow the encore away. Encore advertises Euro coverage NOT, the global mode is useless and vehicles it can access its so slow I have to use my old taskmaster to see the data. After much back and forth with OTC I decided to return it(otc's recommendation). Called Toolsource spoke to a woman who told me she would get back to me, never got a call back. Tried again to no avail. Now I got a $1500. Paper weight. My advice, stay away from OTC and Toolsource"
"At the end of May 2017 I wanted to place a second order for some items that were not on the website so, as usual, I requested that the items be added to the website. Here it is the middle of July 2017 and both of my requests went completely unanswered. For my first attempt I used the contact page on the website and for my second attempt I sent an e-mail to ****@****. I do not know what happened to this company. They used to have outstanding customer service. My last order with them is covered by invoice OST276382 (which went through without any problems, so at least for that order Toolsource deserves five stars)."
Untrustworthy. Incompetent and deceptive practices.

Only after ordering did I find my part was direct ship from the manufacturer.
My order was not followed through on (submitted to the manufacturer) until I called nine days later.
Customer service purposely misinformed me on several points.
Ordered a part (sandblaster gun) from Toolsource.com online on the 10th and received a confirmation email, waited a week and a half with no further communication from Toolsource.com.
After waiting nine days (now the 19th), I called Toolsourse.com and was told "please hold the line and I will call the manufacturer as this part ships direct to you from them." after 5 or 6 minutes she came back on the line and said "the manufacturer is shipping it today". When I asked "why the delay?"
Toolsource.com could not say.
I waited another eleven days (now the March-1st), then emailed Toolsource.com because I had not received the part or an email saying it had shipped.
This time I was told "sorry the part is made to order and will ship for about two weeks"
Frustrated and in disbelief that every blast gun is made per order, I called the manufacturer (a small business with a dozen or so employees).
I talked to the receptionist (who also handles the incoming/outgoing orders) and I talked with a rep. on the manufacturing floor.
I found the tool for making my part was being retooled and the part would not be available for three weeks (not the two as I was told by Toolsource.com)
I was transferred to the orders department. They looked up by order and it was then that I found my order was only submitted to them on the 19th of the month, not the 10th when I ordered the part from Toolsource.com.
I then called toolsource.com and cancelled my order."
