Elite seals are prestigious banners given to retailers who are loved by their customers. To get one, a retailer has to consistently get high scores over time
"get a notice about my delivery arriving on tuesday. I use the UPS mychoice to reschedule the delivery on Thursday as I know I'll be able to work from home. They make me PAY to change the delivery schedule. I get a confirmation that the delivery will be on thursday PM. Then on tuesday I get a notice that the delivery is on route to my home... I'm wondering why so I send a mail to UPS asking why it's not on thursday. same day later I get another another notice that the delivery has been rescheduled using MyChoice, so I'm reassured. The customer rep replies to me next day saying my delievery was expected last year and that the package is lost. I reply that he's probably mistaken. I get the reply the next day (thursday) that the delivery is indeed on thursday and it's all good. So I expect my delivery but on thursday PM I get a notification saying the package cannot be found and the delivery is schedule to the next day... so basically I paid to get it on thursday but I'll have to take my workday off on friday now to reception the package... this doesn't make any sense, I've never seen a company who doesn't care about its customers as much as this one. This type of scenario has happened on numerous occasions with myself and friends of mine... I can't believe UPS is still doing business being so bad at it... all they have to do is deliver a package from point A to point B and inform the recipient ... they ain't able to do none of that."
"Tried to give them 00 stars but they apparently have to get some credit, even though they absolutely FAIL at doing their job. I have bought several items from several online retailers that use UPS, all different packages were NEVER attempted, but stated that they missed me. Pushing my delivery time back 2-3 days each delivery. I've stopped buying anything from retailers that use UPS as their primary delivery service. They are the sheddiest delivery company to date. Won't be surprised if they're in a class action lawsuit for stealing money from people that pay for expedited delivery, but never getting it until 3 days after what they paid for."
"Paid for 2 day shipping... my phone app says they attempted delivery at my business @ 10:47am... we've been here since 6am... I called them and was told they never actually did attempt delivery because the facility my package was at is closed today...
WORST. SERVICE. EVER.
This happens at Thanksgiving time... every year..."
"Ups is trash! Poor delivery service. Never had a problem with usps. It’s always something wrong with ups. Never again. I’ll cancelled my order with any website if their shipping method is ups"
"Package due for delivery 7 November, doesn't ship until 9 November, new delivery 10 November. Failed to deliver, cited weather conditions. Weather was 70's and cloudy. Contacted UPS twice and the depot was supposed to call both times, never received a call or apology or explanation. 13 November Package still not delivered. Still no reason given for delay or why the depot didn't contact me. Repeated attempts to solve the issue have failed. Will not use service in the future."
"Why pay the extra cost for next day delivery service? Everything was okay until delivery day came. The tracker said that my package would be delivered right on schedule. The UPS facility scanned it and the tracker said it was out for delivery. Understanding that their packages don't arrive in my area until the evening, I sat back and waited for the arrival of my package just in case it needed to be signed for. 8 pm came rolling around and I checked the status of my package and they decided to reschedule the delivery because they're unorganized and possibly don't understand the manpower they require to fulfill their guarantees. Their negligence was a huge inconvenience to me, the paying customer. I will never give them another dime of mine since they can't be efficient with it. Not only do they make themselves look bad but they also effect the customer satisfaction of the companies that guarantee their products will arrive at your doorstep on a specified date."
"I wish I'd read the reviews before using this service through a local shop. They didn't deliver the parcel to my son in Vienna and it took 2 weeks for him to be able to collect it. They the charged me extra for a very minor address alteration although the street number was the same. I can't pay this online and need to go into a bank to pay the extra fee. Very poor. Never again."
"Every time I called to find out why my package was 'in' my town for over a week yet not delivered, I got the run around. First telling that it would be delivered 'that day'. Then telling me the next day I would call 'this day'. This went on for 4 days straight. It never got delivered. Had them send it back to the Sender. FYI - It appears that all of their customer service reps are not located in the U.S. Great "United Parcel Service of America". Yeah, LOL!!
Will use FedEx or USPS always!! In my opinion, so should you!"
"I would like to preface this review with the statement that I normally take things fairly lightly when dealing with hiccups in a process. That being said, I have on several occasions made arrangements to be courteous enough to ensure that someone could be available to receive packages when listed as "on the truck for delivery", and sometimes at a personal financial cost. UPS seems to not consider that their mandate is to be a service oriented business and that the customer is their lifeline to success. If you cannot deliver at a time as listed on your tracking page, let alone at a guaranteed time as purchased by a customer, I cant but think that your regard for your customers is very low as it must be for your employees who appear to have very low morale and or poor interpersonal skills. I think your financial stakeholders should take note that your low reviews are a result of poor management and ultimately poor customer service, perhaps UPS should not survive as a business."
"I ordered a CD from Amazon. First delivery attempt was Friday, driver left infonotice, I signed back saying they could leave it, and not be liable. Monday he leaves another note saying "sorry". I try the App & website both of which ****. I call & get a rep that barely speaks English & have to pay to have the delivery Wednesday and send an email to customer service & the answer I get is it's the drivers discretion."
"I acquired pick up at 9:00 am they didn't come and pick it up till 5:00 p.m and it was urgent document.when i called them they said that the driver had it and how come i called. Then they made me leave work and go to drop it at their center which was far as it was late already. I called them and escalate it and still didnt give me a compensation for what happened and they hang up on me 3 times cause i was asking for compensation. Finally the document didnt reach on its time and I had to travel to the USA to fix what they have done to me. DONT USE UPS AT ANYTIME.
For any more details:***-***-****"
Broke my item, refused to replace or even refund shipping charge
"Title says it all. They broke my very expensive (and durable!) item in transit. They completely removed me from the claims process. They refused to speak to me regarding the claim until they denied it. They refuse to replace the item. They refuse to even refund the shipping and handling charge that I paid for them to break the item!
They lost a customer to their competition for good.
ZERO stars. Terrible company. I hope they **** an attorney off. I'm on board for a class action lawsuit if you are."
"Faulty Samsung phone ups failed to pick up for 2 weeks
After finally picking up the phone it was lost- but only after telling me it was never collected. Thanks to my CCTV my phone was found after a week and went in for repair 3 weeks late.
On return from repair get email phone will be delivered on Monday then rebooked for Tuesday then for Wednesday, rang Samsung up to be told my phone has been lost yet again. It's now 5 weeks since my phone was booked in for repair and still no phone. having Spoken to Samsung apparently my phone has been found but won't be delivered until after bank holiday"
"I received a package at my place on 8/11/17. I was suppose to receive another package on 8/16/17 but didn't. When I checked tracking they had put a note in the system saying that I requested the package to be held, which I hadn't. I called the costumer service center and asked could the package be rerouted to a ups store closer, because the location where it's being held is out of the way for me to travel to. I was told that they couldn't do that and that I would receive a call from someone at the location where it was being held. The lady called and left a voicemail message saying that I could give an alternate address, where the package could be delivered and to give her a call back. I called the number that she left no one answered. Then I called the customer service center back to give an alternate address, just to be told that I couldn't do that either. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Once speaking to her I was assured that my package would be delivered today 8/18/17 in which it wasn't. There's no update on my package or when it will be delivered. I called the customer service center again just to be told to look out for the package, still no update from them or the online tracking. Again I called back they haven't even honored or changed the information on the new delivery address, I was told again someone would call from the location where my package is being held. Someone called as soon as I answered they hung up in my face. I called back the number no answer I called the customer service center no answer. I'm **** I wish merchants would just stop using ups. They have no regards for their customers."
