"This is the WORST company to deal with. I ordered ten boxes of protein bars. Nine came and they were past their expiration date which is 6 months at least on protein bars. So the bars were REALLY old. The tenth box was completely melted. When I complained they said I had to wait for the call tag to be mailed to me, I HAD TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE to mail THEIR OUTDATED PRODUCT back and wait all that time to have a credit on my account. Also the melted box was not returnable because I had eaten ONE BAR out of the box---how was I supposed to know they were inedible before I tried one? This company is the WORST. Go anywhere else but this place!!!"

"A recent disability requires me to do most of my shopping online. This was only the 2nd time I had a HORRIBLE experience in over 100 orders placed online over the last two years. I placed my order on 6/7/10 for an item shown as being in stock, was notified the next day it had been shipped and was issued a Fedex tracking number the next day, and my credit card was charged. Today, two days after receiving the tracking number, I checked the status but Fedex didn't have the number in their system, so I contacted Vitadigest's customer service department by phone. I was informed that, although the item is still shown as being in stock today, that it's actually on back order for "about two weeks". I asked for an explanation as to why I hadn't been notified, why I had been issued a tracking number, and why my credit card was charged for an out of stock item. The weak apology didn't satisfy me so I asked to speak to a supervisor, only to be told no one was there. I canceled the order, demanded that my charge be credited, and immediately notified my bank to refuse the charge."

"Not real happy. My first time ordering. Order came to over $160.00. Was to get free shipping even printed out on my invoice free shipping and the total. When I got confirmation my order was shipped they charge me $3.00 shipping.
Also I forgot to enter my 3.00 coupon code. CS3 Savings I emailed them immediately after I placed the order. VitaDigest has never bothered to respond to several emails.
I also tried calling several times nobody answers. I have left several voice mail msgs. noone responds. Looks like I am going to have to contact my credit card company. Since its my first time ordering I think this will be my last."

"BUYER BEWARE! I received email notification that my product was shipped even though it was not dropped off at FedEx until a whole week later. They changed my order without my consent or knowledge and sent a different product which is a breach of sales contract. It took repeated attempts to contact them and I only received a reply after a threat to notify the proper authorities. One reply was in broken English! I still have the nonconforming product and no guarantee of a full refund."

"Like many vitamin online stores, this one obviously doesn’t order the product it advertises until after you place an order. I ordered on 2/10/2010 2 bottles of a Gaia herb that was advertised on their website as in stock and would ship within 24 hours. I received the product a whopping 19 days later. Don’t order from this company unless you don’t mind waiting a ridiculous amount of time!"

"Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this company. They said my order was shipped on 1/13/2010, and when the tracking number actually showed the tracking, the order had left the warehouse on 1/21/2010 with only half my order. I sent 3 emails seeking an explanation of why I was not contacted...none were answered. I suggest they take the false advertising off their website about how they answer all email's within 24 hours. I have now spent more money to order what they don't have. Buyer beware, once they have your $$$ (which is immediately, really) they are done with you!"

"I've now had 2 very disappointing experiences with this store. I paid for international express mail on my first order, and after waiting 3 weeks for it to arrive I started investigating and found out that they had decided to "cancel" my order without telling me. Rude and appalling customer service in response to my query as to why this had happened. I've since received no further response from them, and upon trying to re-order received more disfunctional service from their customer service dept. STEER CLEAR!"

"At the time of purchase the product was in stock. I received a confirmation e-mail and an e-mail saying the order had shipped including a link to track it.
The following week, I checked the shipping progress and found the shipper did not have a tracking number. I called Vitadigest.com and
found that the product did not ship after all! I was told that an e-mail was sent concerning this but I never received it. (I received the two other e-mails ok.) Also, the credit card was charged even though the order was not shipped.
I asked to speak to a supervisor but I was told none was available and one would call back in or within 24 hours. I never received any call yet from a supervisor and now it is two weeks after placing the order, which I received today.
In the meantime, the person I ordered the product (which was prescribed by a physician) for ran out of the product which is rather important to take."

"I should have read the reviews before I shelled out $120.00 to save shipping cost. Now I've been waiting over a week with no delivered product. The FedEx number is invalid.
The phone numbers at their customer service do not answer - at any extension.
Sad to see such bad business practices.
Calling my bank now to contest charges.

"This place took my money,sent me an eMail saying my order had been shipped the same day (Friday) by FedEx.
On Tues, I eMailed them, wanting to know where my order was. "Just shipped out today, it'll be there Thurs."
Today (the following Monday), I finally received part of my order - about 1/3 of cost.
These people are thieves. Stay away. BEWARE."
