"Sam's Club Auctions is great for listing one itme several times and when the item is won, processed through my credit card, the next day or so and email is received that the order was cancelled by me, or some other reason by them. This has happened to me 3 times on jewelry won. Also, they are great for posting a description on one thing and ship you another. This has happened to me 2 times now. Now for Sam's Club Warehouse, the customer service people must be on something. They could care less about customer service and work like they are robots. Right hand never wanting to know what left hand is doing or learned. Newport Richey Fl and Long Island NY are for the pits!"

"Bidz.com is a great place to participate in online auctions from costume jewelry to high end jewelry. I have won numerous items from them and I am very satisfied with the quality of items in whole. However, on 2 occasions I had to send items back and had to tell them why and they issued an RMA immediately and gave refund. They do not send prepaid return address labels but they do refund the return postage costs if items are not as described, broken, or defective. The drqwback is they take too long to issue refunds and they do not work with the bidders in lowering their "Reserve Offer Price" of items you have bid on and the item was not sold. Even they have great items, they charge an "Auction Fee", overpriced shipping, and sales tax to all according to what ever state you are in."

"Always at Auction (alwaysatauction.com) is a good online auction to do bidding. They do not have high end items like another online auction house that I deal with, but they do not charge tax or auction fees like the other auction company. Their returns are very good and they even email prepaid return address labels to ship items back for free if defective or damaged. I would like to see more high end items, particularly jewelry, added to their auctions. Sometimes they do have auctions on brand name watches. When bidding on no name items expect not to get top of the line. I have had a couple damaged/defective items to send back and had no trouble."

"This is a rewrite of Bidz.com. Today, 03/02/11, I had a bad experience with their service. I was offered a reserve price on an item and when I tried to get them to lower the offer THEY REFUSED. I tried to get them to forego the auction fees and sales tax, THEY REFUSED. "I have purchased several items from Newegg.com and I am completely satisfied so far. Although most items are very good, you have to search around to make sure of the price you want to pay because at times their prices are higher than any other company. Example: I wanted to purchase a Canon LPE5 battery for my digital camera and Newegg was much higher than B&H Photo. There is no phone number to call to try to get a better price. J&R, B&H, and PC Richard does. So far I have not had to return anything so I do not know how their returns are. Since Newegg does not have overhead like retail stores do, their prices should be much better."

"I called AccessoryCircut located in Brooklyn, NY and was assured they had the Canon LP-E5 battery in stock. So, I ordered it from their website and about 1 hour later I received a phone call from a persn (I have his first and last name) that this battery was on a national backorder and they would not get it in stock for at least 10 days. He offered me a supposedly better battery (Vivitar) for the same price. This battery is not better and it is cheaper. I told him to cancel the order. I received an email from then confirming cancellation. Now lets see if I still get billed. The price for the Canon battery was to-good-to-to-be-true. You know what they say about that. Note to all: Stores name is Accessory Circuit but website is accessorycircut.com (notice second word spelling)"

"PC Richard is a very honest family owned company. I have been purchasing things from them since they opened their first store on Kings Hwy, Bklyn, NY many years ago and have never been disappointed. Even the sales people will try to match or beat competitors prices if you can show them either from an ad or online. Their return policy is only 14 days on most items but they do not make you feel like you have done anything wrong like J&R Returns Dept. does. Their shipping is next to none (excellent)"

"Best Buy should change thir name to "WORST BUY"!! On many many occasions I was in the market to purchase different electronic items and checked Best Buy for their price and more often than not their price was actually higher than the MSRP. Even the department managers could care less."

"I have bought many items from J&R, from a tripod to a 52" Panasonic Plasma tv and have never had a problem. There shipping is the greatest. It is shipped immediately, unless on backorder, and arrives a couple days later. I am not crazy about their store layout on Park Row, NYC. Every department has it's own entry from street. You cannot go from one department to another without going out and walking down sidewalk to the next store. There returns department in person is in the basement and they make you feel like you are doing something wrong."
