"I've preordered a video game one week prior to its release, because overstock has by far the cheapest price offered.
On its release day, I didn't get any email regarding my shipment status, so I logged into my account at overstock.com to see for myself. To me surprise, it's out of stock! I talked to an online associate and asked her why it's out of stock and when my order will be shipped. She didn't give me a definite answer but to tell me she would forward my inquiry to a sale representative to get back to me by phone or email once it's in stock again.
I am very disappointed in the way they operate their business. If they knew a particular product was going to be in short supply, they should not have charged my credit card. They should have sent me an email notifying me instead and asked me for my further decision on my order.
At this point I have no idea when my order will be delivered. I thought I could count on overstock.com, but I guess I was wrong. I will think again if I want to do business with them in the future."
"I couldn't believe UPS can be irresponsible and deceptive. This is the FIRST time I came across their handling of my package. Following is my story:
I've expected a scheduled package to deliver to me on August 25th, but the driver never came by the whole morning I waited. I even left my gate open for the deliveryman to enter; no one ever sat a foot in my premises. Not a single note attached to my mailbox if they made an attempt as they claimed.
I checked the online tracking, and was dumbfounded to find that they didn't even mention "OUT FOR DELIVERY" in status progresss in the first place.
I called their customer service department afterward, and all they could tell me was that my package was rescheduled because no one was present to receive. What a bunch of nonsense! I was then patched throught to another associate who promised me that she would contact the driver to further investigate.
Finally, after one hour or so of waiting, the deliveryman came and apologized for not sending the package as promised, saying he was on the wrong street, confused with the actual address. (un-huh...what an excuse!)
I have to say, in serious conculsion, after numerous times using their service, that UPS does not take its customers seriously unless reminded and told to...depending on which driver assigned to make your delivery. So being on the safe side it's always nice to keep a close eye when it comes to using UPS delivery."

"Responsible seller!
Friedman's shoes reimbursed me for the mistake of sending me a wrong pair of shoes I ordered in the first place. I sent it back to them out of pocket and waited an additional two weeks for the correct shoes to send to me.
Although it was a "troublesome" experience, they gave me a free next-day delivery as soon as the shipment came in to them. I received my shoes exactly the next day as promised. The sale rep Marty was obligated enough to call me two days later checking in and asking of my satisfaction.
I thought I was going to give up on Friedman's shoes (largefeet.com), but I might make a purchase from them in the future. Hopefully they will not make any unnecessary mistake for their customers. That's the only thing I'd hate to experience."

"I placed a small order for about two-something dollars with HP -- The cheapest price I could find. My order was promptly processed within two days despite the fact that it was backordered.
The shipping, even for this small purchase, was free and HP contacted me through e-mail with a tracking number as soon as they could toward the the end.
I'm happy that HP takes me as a customer responsibly and proves to me that they do business with their customers in a timely manner."
"Roadrunnersports.com is a best company that really cares for its customers. I purchased a pair classic heritage New Balance shoes from them and was delivered very quickly. They kept in touch with me via e-mail about my order status until my transaction was fully complete. Their customer phone service was very helpful and friendly. One pet peeve I have is the tax charge since I live in the same state where roadrunnersports is located. They offer coupons (you can find it online via coupon search) that can take 10% off every purchase, but to get the best of their offers you either have to join their member clubs to enjoy free shipping and discounts or just pay the shipping outta your pocket. Roadrunnersports is recommendable but not suggested if you opt for free shipping when you're not a member of theirs."
"This is my first time making a purchase from one hanes place. Their customer service is acceptable and well responsive when I get in touch with them of my purchase status. However, the only downside is, they cannot provide me with tracking number for my product order, and since I opt for their free shipping offer, all they can say is that they've sent my package via USPS using regular mail. I have no way of knowing when exactly my package will be shipped by USPS. I'm still waiting for it to arrive, hopefully until 27th the least. I'm not sure I'd ever buy from them again in the future, because their shipping takes a long time and they charge tax...literally the majory of states in USA. I'm not very statisfied with them."
