compatible software requirements are in the small T&C
"Bought software for my new Mac. Once it doesn't work you need to read the small print and find there are only ranges of machine software that the purchase will work with, no obvious when you buy. Wasted £60
I was partly at fault, and as I hadn't used the product key, they issued a full refund.
