Didn't get desired car
"We paid extra for a convertible, and when I read the fine print it said if the rental company couldn't fufill our request it would give us a better car than we paid for (not worse). All of the convertibles were recalled apparently which we were never told until we arrived at the rental company. When we told them we were supposed to get a better car, the rental company argued with us that Atlas Choice wasn't even a valid third party company to rent thru (which didn't make sense). We were not given an alternative that was better than what we paid for. We were given something that was worse. I didn't get my money refunded because I had prepaid. It was a horrible experience because the convertible was a surprise birthday present for my significant other. When we ended up with something worse than a mustang convertible I was very upset and the situation was never rectified. I will definitely be renting through a different company next time (despite the cost savings with atlas choice)."
