Bad customer support, bad quality product......
"Extremely Disappointed!!!!! My two Roku Ultras were already replaced once before. So this is a story about the replaced Roku. It started making stretched sound like you hear in 5 fps movie though the movie itself plays fine. So I contacted customer support. First of all on 16th of this month I called in the morning I asked for RMA to be sent right away because I was leaving town early on 17th and was told that I get email within an hour. NOPE. Didn't get it. I wanted to ship it before I leave town so by the time I came back I would have replacement unit. I called in the morning on 17th and the guy had to give it to me over the phone. Then instead of shipping on 16th when I had plenty of time I had to ship it on 17th on the way to my destination and we lost almost an hour. By loosing an hour we lost another two hours later because we had to wait in the van at the loading dock to unload our cargo. And of course my wife was screaming at me all this time. So I came back and I see no Roku. At first I thought my house sitter hid it somewhere and I could not get a hold of her for few days. So I called yesterday evening on 25th and was waiting on the phone for an hour and a half to speak to someone with a horrible accent. This guy did could not even find out what happened and promised to send me email in 45 minutes. NOPE. No email. So I called in the morning on 26th and the guy tells me that shipping carrier did not pick it up yet. You supposed to send it on the 20th and today is 26th and the carrier did not pick? Then supervisor Christine came on line and tells me that she will try to ship it overnight but can't promise that. What kind of customer service do you have? Besides bad quality of you product because my Roku was already replaced once so this is going to be a second time and I paid twice for shipping you can's even keep your promises!!!! Then instead of Christine calling in a few hours I get a call from someone else while in the car saying that someone will contact me in 24 hours. I call later on because I was promised to be called by Christine but she is nowhere to be found even though she is there. Was told that it is going to be shipped by Fedex but not overnight so I will not have it by the weekend. We supposed to have a party so I can't view videos. I said email me tracking number. He said OK. Next morning no tracking number. So I call again. Guy said here is the tracking number but no email. Extremely Disappointed!!!!! Will never buy Roku again."

Refuse to honor warranty.......and quality zucks.
"So I bought this Tamron 15-30mm lens from ProDigital2000 that has 6 years warranty less than 3 years ago. This lens is supposed to be only used for a group shots in darker than usual situations on the red carpet where 24mm is not wide enough. Plus it has F2.8 and VC so it is perfect for handheld shots. So, 99% of the time it is not being used. It just sits in my photo suitcase most of the time well protected. Later on I wanted to use it but the focus ring got stiff. I have contacted ProDigital2000 and they said to send it in. But the lens had 1 year International warranty and WPPI event was coming up so instead I took it with me to WPPI where Tamron tech support was present and they repaired it under warranty. And back to the suitcase it went. I maybe took 50 shots with it all together. Few months ago I wanted to use it again but this time not only it would not focus but also zoom got stuck. I have contacted ProDigital2000 again and shipped it to them. In term they sent to Amplis that is covering for Tamron in Canada. After receiving the lens Amplis concocted a story that the lens was dropped and even sent a picture of the broken part which is way inside the lens. How can part break inside that deep but there is no external damage? In fact lens looks like brand new. The part looks like a tab (plastic or metal) that is being attached by a slither to something and on top of that there is a screw thread running through that tab. My theory is that this screw was over tightened from the factory and that is why it broke under stress. I was a toolmaker/designer for 28 years so I know what I talking about. They want $400 to fix this problem. The whole lens used is not worth that. I think these crooks are just trying to extract money since they are very busy because of the shady Tamron quality and they have to repair so many lenses. This is not the only design problem with Tamron lenses I have encountered. Their new G2 lenses are metal body painted without the primer under the paint so it is easy to scratch. They made buttons on these lenses so people wearing gloves can use them. How many people wearing gloves during photography? A very small percentage. Yet these switches are easily moved and so the settings of the lens change in a very inappropriate times so I am missing the shots because something is wrong. I do love optics in Tamron lenses but the quality frankly zucks!!!!!!"

Product rated EX has missing parts......update
"I would say if you are specializing selling used parts you should make sure everything is included. I bought Newton camera bracket and the screw that connects the bracket to the camera is missing. so it is not like something obscure but the main component is missing. That means that the product was not checked before it was rated EX. Rated EX means it should have all the parts especially something that important like a screw that connects to the camera. I called the store and they offered refund but this product is hard to find and I waited a week to get it. I asked if they can ship me the screw and I was told NO. Really disappointed in KEH service. Update: After complaining that the item is useless without that screw KEH rep bought the screw from manufacturer and shipped it to me. Upgrading from 1 star to 4."

Worst than worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will never buy again.
"If i could leave Zero rating I would. Bought Micron SSD from Rakuten but the seller is Platinum Micro. It arrived in 3 days though the company is just few miles away from me. It arrived without invoice, packaging and warranty. So I called them (Platinum Micro) and they said they will email me receipt with 3 year warranty and contact me. No receipt and no warranty. So I contacted them again and they said 10 minutes. BTW, whoever responds speaks very little english. Still no receipt. So I contacted Rakuten and they in turn contacted Platinum Micro. Again, thry said 10 minutes. An hour later nothing. So I contacted manufacturer and was told that there is no warranty. Rakuten told me I have to wait now 3 business days to get response from the Platinum Micro. Obviously I will never deal again with Rakuten and Platinum Micro."

"So I bought this WD Red hard drive from Adorama few days ago. Guess what it was shipped in? In a bubble envelop!!!!!!! No, not kidding!!!! And they used UPS, the worst company in the world. So guess what happened? Drive of course arrived DOA. Adorama, you don't ship HD in the envelop and bubble wrap. Shipping is not gentle you morons!!!!! They tried to bribe me with $25 and asked me if I can change this review. I also received email saying that they ship it this way 10 of thousands and I am the only one to complain. Yeah right."

"Update: And now I basically got a slap in my face. I emailed and asked why shipment was delayed and I mentioned I could have saved $6 if I wanted to wait for the same seller whose distributor apparently screwed up by shipping the wrong drive, drop ship. So retailer was not at fault here. Anyway, I told in the email I dont want $6 I want my drive to be delivered on time. So they refunded my $6. What a bunch of MORONS!!!!!! If I could lower rating to ZERO stars I would. BandH obviously doesnt understand what a customer service is!!!!! Not reliable after all!!!! Ran out of room on my hard drive the other day so needed to buy another. I ordered a hard drive from another store online third party seller and they screwed up sending the wrong drive. So I went on the BandH site early in the morning on the day they were open (not on the holiday) and the delivery date was April 29th. So I ordered from BandH on promise that it is going to be delivered on 29th. But after I got shipping confirmation late next day I found out I am going to receive this drive on the 30th. Except I am not going to be there on the 30th because I am going to be on the shoot and after I come back I would have to do a lot of work processing the pictures. But since my hard drive is full I would have to first install new hard drive, so more likely I am going to be late with the photos. And no local store has this drive. After I contacted BandH I got snark response that all premium orders were shipped on the same day and all others were shipped the next day. Here is the problem with that: how am I supposed to know what was my order premium or "others"? And why would I care after all? All I know it is supposed to be here on 29th!!!!! I could have done all the work on my computer on the day I was not busy if BandH delivered on the promise but they didnt!!!!!! Shame on you BandH!!!!!"

"Order my items on 6/21. Not a holiday. Expected to be shipped the following day because item was in stock. Instead got email that expected delivery is on Jul 2nd. Sent email, why so slow? Never got response. Got another email 5 days later that items were shipped but in reality only the label was created. Only on 6/27 it was actually shipped and not the speedy way. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service. Most good companies use speedy shipping if there is a delay of some sort. This company does not care. Update: I just looked at the first email and nowhere it says shipped date by 28th. Just delivery date Jul 2-5. I ordered it on Thursday and it should have been shipped on Friday. Monday the latest. I just lowered the rating for blatant lying."

"I ordered Nikon D800e which was in a very, very, very limited supply everywhere. I was on the list in many on-line stores and with Roberts Camera I was number 9 which should have been the longest wait because I was told these cameras coming in 1 or 2 per week. And I did not even prepay for it like many other stores require. 2 weeks later I got a call that my camera arrived. Not only that but one of the lenses I got with it was also so popular that no one had it in stock either but somehow Roberts received those too. All other places I checked are out of stock or selling these at the premium price. Not so with Roberts. Their price was actually the lowest. And on top of it I ordered in their satellite store by accident because I got the wrong phone number so they shipped the camera to the main store and shipped it to me in one day. That is what I called great service!!!!!"

"Very fast shipping. It seems to me that they shipped it before I even thought of ordering it. I ordered it on 11/23 after closing hours and received it on 11/28 but there was Thanksgiving and weekend in between. It was shipped by USPS. How they managed this is beyond me. I called on Sunday to get a tracking number and obviously Customer service was closed but someone in the store helped me very quickly and was very polite. There was something wrong with emailing system so I got Tracking number in the email after I got the lens. Packaging was good and i am very satisfied that I saved $100 compared to everyone else selling this lens. Maybe I should check Unique Photo prices more often. Update: I have ordered Nikon SB-910 on line and also found coupon at Retailmenot.com so actually it came out cheaper than anywhere else. To boot Unique Photo shipped it right away unlike some other big Internet stores that name start Am.... . So could not be happier. I will get it on the same day as my hard to find camera."
