Like the ladies from the Church Bazaar decided to open a business
"These folks are terrible about everything - we placed an order (for a gift card, mind you), we made sure to ask if the order would be processed that day, we were told yes. The order was not placed til 4 days later. Meanwhile, the credit card had expired (we had explained that was the reason we wanted to know if the charges would be processed through that day) and they cancelled the order. They notified us by postal mail, which took 10 DAYS to reach us. When I called to complain, they tried to tell me that its always 5-7 days to process an order and they would never have guaranteed us same day processing. Liars! My sister was there when I placed the order and remembers the conversation exactly as I did. If they had told us that day that it would take 5-7 days, we would have called back when the card had been renewed. We had a whole discussion with the woman taking our order about which way we needed to go on this because we were concerned about the imminent renewal date! NO this new woman says - I must be wrong, that's not how they do things. And it's just too bad for us because our card was denied so they are not responsible for any of it. It's all our fault. But I can make a reorder if I want. Heads up , ladies - it's an X-mas present, at 10 days to receive, it won't arrive til after X-mas. Not even single offer of how they could do something to help the situation. Bad, bad customer service. Bad initial information and zero reliability. Total lack of accountability. She argued with me about how I really had no complaint - I was to blame all on my own. REORDER? No thank you - I'll shop somewhere else. Somewhere they take responsibility for their actions and their promises. Somewhere they use modern communication, like email to inform of problems. I will never try to order anything from there ever again, and I suggest you don't either unless you have oodles of time to waste on stupid problems."
