"I bought 3 tickets for Cirque du Soleil through Groupon. Unfortunately, the event got canceled due to COVID-19, I tried to get my refund since the "Extraordinary Event Policy" clearly states "Cancelled Event. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, we will automatically refund the amount paid to the purchaser." Instead, I was refunded with Groupon Bulks which I haven't asked for. I told the customer service lady that I didn't want Bucks I just wanted my money back but she said "the policy says that contact us for the refund, the Refund is in the Groupon credit". Don't trust Groupon! They won't refund your money.
Also, if you are looking for a service, try calling the business, specially small business, ahead they might honor the deal on Groupon without the need of getting it. Groupon gets 50% of each sale!"
