"It was not my first purchase from antonline but definitely will be the last one. All purchases were processed and delivered very slow using cheapest ground shipping methods. Return policy, even for defective and unopen items is not good as they charge fee all the time and ask customers to pay even it is not a customer fault. My order was for a new ZyXEL 802.11ac access point that wasn't working properly (layer 2 isolation, SNTP protocol lacked essential setting allowing you to setup correct time etc.). Transfer speeds on both 3.4 and 5GB were less than 7 MB/s. I've requested a RA from antonline, paid for shipping back for this defective/poorly designed unit (returned in like new condition !) and on the end, antonline issued partial refund and charged restocking fee. I wish I've checked this company prior to placing an order with them, no wonder they have such a poor rating from other users."

"Found what I was looking for at FrozenCPU.com, the price was right for some of the things I needed for my home server build. Shipped out the same day via USPS, got it 2 days later. "Stay away from this seller! They are quick just in one simple operation - charging your credit card. Awful communications, impossible to fing anybody on the phone, promises.... Placed an order on Dec. 23 2007. 10 days later found that it is not shipped yet and called them. They told me that the product is backordered on vendor's side so they don't know when they may fulfil this order so I cancelled it and requested refund (January 3, 2008). As of today, January 29th, there is no refund posted. On January 17th I saw on vendor's web page (Samsung) that the item I interesting in is available and because the price was higher, put new order on elitextreme for the same item. A day later the product went on backorder again at Samsung and elitextreme wasn't shipped it again so I called and requested order cancellation and asked about first refund and then about second one. I was told that I should expect it in 7-10 days. Just sent them email informing them that I'm going to file a complaint next Monday and next time when I'm ordering from resellers whcih are not well-known, first will check here at resellerratings.com to avoid all these hassles. Better pay little bit more and get your product ontime. DO NOT PLACE ANY ORDER with this company. File as many complaints if you experiencing problems with them so hopefully they will go out of business."

"Recently purchased Mac Mini from macmall.com because they offered $25 rebate and free shipping (after second rebate, which in my case should be about $14, will see how fast I will get them). My first complaint is about customer service. My rep tried all the time to speak over me and it was not easy to explain what I actually need. Needed to tell her that she will not be successful if she'd doing her job in this manner. Second complaint is about their website, and especially user accounts portion, which was very often unavailable when I tried to obtain any information about status of my order. Third, there is no way to get tracking # for your shipment because they no longer provide it! The rep explained to me that this is their "company rule" and they doing it to protect customers. I told her that they are the only company who doesn't provide customers with this information - either by email or inside their online accounts. So if you login to your account, you will see xxxxxxxx instead of your tracking #, and if you click on it you may see some ugly page with some information and missing pictures, but only if you are lucky. That's why I called macmall.com 3 times trying to obtain information when my item was shipped and when can I expect it. No luck. They simply told me that I will get it in 5-7 business days, and decline to provide trucking #. So, as I told in my post about my experience with orders at buy.com, "goodbye, macmall.com" It was first and last time. I love to do business with partners which respect my rights and fact that I am Customer, not just order #."

"Horrible customer service! Prices sometimes are good, but it does not worth because of hassles and inconvenience of dealing with customer support in case you need to get refund, replacement or you-name-it. Months ago had bad experience with 1-2 orders, took hours on the phone and months to get my money back for non-working items sold as new. Right now I'm dealing with them about my recent order which my employee placed on Nov. 1st 2007 for item I already ordered just couple days ago. I called buy.com customer service just an hour after he placed the order to cancel it, also sent request through my online account. My card was charged, of course, almost immediately. Since that day I'm trying to get confirmation that my order is cancelled but they keep telling me that this process takes 3-5 business days (what the f***????) and they maybe will ship this item before they will be able to cancel it. Spoke about 4 times with them over the phone - the same answer: we apologize, but cancellation request takes 3-5 business days"... Can imagine how long it will take to get my money back. As a result I cancelled another order placed on buy.com about 2-3 weeks ago for Microsoft Zune, even the price is very good. Simply, I don't want to do business with resellers like buy.com - there are better companies like newegg.com with excellent customer service and low prices. Goodbye, buy.com. No more deals with you. ---- Update: Nov. 15. Finally got confirmation by email that my order is cancelled on Nov. 12. It took 12 days (!) to cancel my order, and I got refund to my PayPal account used for this transaction the same day. That was the only positive think in whole story."

"Ordered CPU and computer case on January 18, 2007. On january 31st after 100 attempts to get anybody on the phone got one person on the phone and was able to submit order cancellation request. Got email with confirmation, and since this date there no money refund in my account, no answer to my emails. It seems like their phone system is programmed to go to voice mail box after several minutes on hold, which is full so you can not leave a message. The other favorite message is about "Heavy call volume..". Of course, if you stole money from customers, they will try to get them back, right? They were very fast taking your money, but then... I have ordered from them before, and there was no problem with shipment. Yes, it was not so fast like NewEgg or TigerDirect, but I got my things in less then 10 days. I don't know what happened with these guys, but, if you are doing business, you should do it in right way. If you can not, close the store, pay your debt to customers, and at least say "sorry" for inconvinience. I hope Federal Trade Commission will take care of them soon. Everybody should post their complaints there (http://www.ftc.gov/)."

"I have been NewEgg.com customer since I came in the US in 2003. I consider myself as computer savvy at least because of my education and about 20 years computer industry experience, so I know usually what I’m looking for and I know how to find it in Internet. I'm doing computer consulting business as well so sometimes I resell things I purchased for own SOHO use. Although I have agreements with some big North American computer components distributors like IngramMicro, TechData and CDW, I found very quick that NewEgg.com prices are lower, customer service is excellent, Web site is well organized and easy to use, return policy is acceptable for most buyers, and so on... And usually I place my orders on NewEgg.com because I have better price, ultrafast delivery, no-hassle refunds/replacement, and great customer service which is available when I need something and I do not need to wait 1 hour or more on hold to speak with somebody overseas. One of most important advantages for me also is amazing delivery time. Because NewEgg ships from different warehouses across the country, usually your order is shipped from closest warehouse. That means you will get it faster. My last order came on the next day, and usually I have my orders delivered on second or third day after the order is placed. Amazing! No more waiting and phone calls to online resellers with questions like "What happened with my order I placed 10 days ago?" or "Can you send me tracking #?". All information is available online in your account, and the whole account history as well. You will get tracking information by email and it is is available online. About prices. Usually lowest prices for CPU, motherboards, printers, HDDs. Tens of thousands items on stock. Hundreds manufacturers to choose from. I think, lately NewEgg improved their system so now if you order two items with fixed shipping cost, the resulting shipping will be not twice than for one item. Deal’s pages with products on sale are great, I am there almost everyday to check what is on sale and there is good way to get things cheaper. You can also search for items with rebates and save more. User comments/reviews are very helpful and I am using them to decide about the product, even I order it from another retailer. IMO, it will be better if only registered users purchased the same product will be able to post comments, not everybody, because you may find some reviews made by competitors trying to push sales of their products. NewEgg constantly improve their Web site so it is very easy to narrow your search result to desired product. Most of product descriptions are enough for regular buyers, but if you need more details, there is direct link to product page on manufacturer’s Web site – nice and saves time. When you typing word in search field, you can see some suggestions – also very good feature. Sometimes it is impossible to find the right product just because you don’t know how to name it – so there is the way – just go to “Shop all categories” page and look there. And, again, customer support is incredible. I spoke with people like Don Hollingshead, Jason and others about my purchases/returns and they were always very friendly and solved my problems in seconds. I wish all companies have employees like NewEgg's. Overall, I have maybe about 100 orders in past 3 years.Yes, I order from another sites like TigerDirect, Amazon and Buy, as well because sometimes the prices are significantly lower or there are rebates for the same products, but, honestly, nobody can beat NewEgg at this moment. And that is the reason why we, customers, will order computer parts, components, software, peripherals, multimedia, TVs and systems we need on NewEgg.com again and again. Thank you, NewEgg! S.
