As other's everyone else below has said, and as far as I can tell no effort is being made to improve anything
"I'll start with the positive which is that I am a member of ShopRunner, so if L&T actually ships the product - then receiving it in a timely manor is usually not a problem.
My issues are mainly with the quality of the product, and also the website itself. I choose to shop at the (horrible) L&T website mostly because of the good deals that can be had combined with free shipping, being a member of ShopRunner. I guess you could say 'you get what you pay for' which is certainly the case here. Often times much of what I buy is on sale. With that being said, I am still expecting to receive a product in its original with with tags condition. However, what I find with L&T is that often times what I received is a product that has been removed from all its original packing, and somethings even reticketed with cheap Lord & Taylor tag.... in general unkempt condition overall.
My other issue is with the website overall. I could go on and on and on about all the issues I've had over the years, but I don't even think I could remember all of them at this point. The company is definitely 'behind the 8-ball' as far as technology is concerned and that still hasn't changed. I think what i most concerning to me is there is little evidence that ANYTHING is being done to address ANY of the number issues you can find described here or on other review sites across the internet. Whats worse, is that these bad experiences don't just seem to be limited to the internet, but are also happening in the stores as well. Anyways, back to the original topic - I've received items that were not the item displayed on the site, sometimes the prices and promotions are off or don't work properly, there has been more than one that time something I've ordered gets cancelled, the photo's available to look at are HORRIBLE, STILL no in-store locator for items (even if its always a little off). I actually had to start a new account, because there was some issue with my wish list that even customer service could help me to fix - You get the idea."
Nice Website/Store, but POOR(!!!) Customer Service
"Nice website, often with good prices, however be careful ordering things that you aren't sure will work; the Saks OFF 5th return policy is the opposite of Saks Fifth Avenue. I had ordered a pair of jeans during their friends and family sale, and as it turned out, I ended up needing one size smaller. When I called the 800 number to inquire about an exchange I found RUDE staff both times I called. I was told they don't do exchanges, but If I go to a physical store and return the jeans, then they could help me there. I went to the store to return the jeans, and of course they didn't have the ones I was looking for in-stock, but they could be ordered from the website. Great I thought! However, on the day I returned the jeans... the same jeans (for reorder) were now $30 more. I went ahead an placed the order at the store, but was told they can't adjust the price of anything online (to make an even exchange for the exact same item). So then I had to call the 800 number back, where I was rudely told they don't match the price even for an the exact same item. Really??? What a wild goose chase! If you are un sure of the size, I would recommend just buying both and returning the one that doesn't work within the 30 day time limit to avoid this headache."
"I've been a customer of Vitacost for several years now, and I am mostly satisfied overall. There is an expansive, and ever increasing variety of products. Many packaged grocery items can now be purchased directly through their site as well. I find Vitacost usually has some of the best prices around, especially when you factor in free shipping (over $49), no tax (in many states), and there is often an additional sale or promo code as well.
I am giving them a rating of 3 stars because of 2 gripes I have as of late. My biggest issue is that many of the product reviews I've taken the time to write in the past just seem to never have been posted. The other issue is that whether or not the packaged get packed fast initially, Vitacost's decision to ship through LaserShip seems to invariably lead to slowdowns if not all out problems."
"I have actually had many good experiences purchasing from Bloomingdales in the past. My current gripe is with the sudden essentially overnight change of their return policy. I do believe it is fair for Bloomingdale's to change their policy with notice given on purchases going forward. HOWEVER, according to Bloomingdale's, their (current) new return policy is now the policy that will be applied to all purchases made at Bloomingdale's ever, even though this new policy just went into effect. This is incredibly deceptive, and maybe even illegal!
** Update** I also wanted to add that i've noticed when I write 5 star product reviews they seem to get posted right away. However, when I write a critical 1 or 2 start review its seems to take FOREVER for them to post it, if they even post it at all!"
Shockingly disorganized fulfillment from their website!
"I ordered several things from johnvarvatos.com during their end of season sale a few weeks ago. The first thing that struck me as odd is that AFTER you place an order, you have to wait for your order to be 'approved'... meaning that they can just cancel your order after you placed it for any reason. Of the several items I ordered, 2 actually got shipped right away, 2 were labeled as approved, and one labeled as backordered. Now, several weeks after I placed the order I got informed via email that all 3 items I haven't received are not available and are cancelled.
Even more frustrating, I ordered a pair of gloved in a separate order on the same day. After ordering, I sent a picture to a friend of mine asking if she liked them. She said she did like them and in fact decided to order a pair for herself. Although she placed her order after me, she received the gloves right away... on the other hand, my order with the gloves has now been switched from 'approved' to 'backordered'. This level of disorganization, and just cancelling orders left and right is shocking, and unacceptable from a major company such as John Varvatos. I will certainly think twice before ordering again, and would NOT recommend it to others."
Hard to find products important from Italy at great prices!
"I stumbled upon Supermarket Italy by accident looking for Brioschi (Italian antacid). I was pleasantly surprised to find all types of hard to find products for italy at reasonable prices! Flat rate shipping made my entire order worthwhile. Im located not too far for their warehouse, so I received my order in 2 days! Would definitely order again!"
"Best prices, fast delivery, and free shipping if you spend $50 I believe. I have placed a few orders through chewy.com, and most likely will continue to do so."
