"I have purchased four replacement batteries for my APC Smart UPS products over the last couple of years. I have never had an issue with the products, nor delivery. In fact, receiving has always met my expectations within a few days. The packaging can also be used to ship back your expired products for proper disposal at no cost, however shipping cost will be at your expense. So far, this has proven to be a very reputable company to deal with and I do recommend them."
"I would not recommend OnRebate at all. Buyer beware!!! They conduct business in a manner that is not conducive to your best interest. In addition, never ever buy anything based on a rebate. If you actually do receive your rebate, consider yourself lucky. Feel free to do a search on rebates relative to OnRebate and you'll find a plethora of reasons why you should not base any purchase desisions on rebates. My rebate was submitted and denied based on a best guess of which barcode was the right one. They were nice enough to send me a notice regarding this. I called the number on the postcard and instead of them telling me which one I should have sent, the CSR made me guess at each one of them until he finally confirmed the correct one. I re-submitted it. That was a waste of time and effort. I never saw that $50, and don't suspect I ever will. I've moved on, and now know not to ever base my purchase desisions on the lure of a rebate. They bank on the term "breakage" which is an industry term used when referencing rebates. It's when you, the patron is forced to go through so many hoops to get your rebate that you eventually just give up, or don't bother trying anymore, if at all. It's free money for them to keep, or perhaps claim themselves using the materials you've provided. It may sound like a bitter jab at them, but at this point it's anybody's guess. Never again OnRebate! Your ratings on this site based on the many customers you have abused speaks for itself. I tried several courses of action with OnRebate, but they have set themselves up to be unreachable where it matters. If OnRebate really respected their customers, they'd create a website and eliminate all of these rediculous paper processes. An online rebate site where you could just put in your transaction numbers, serial numbers, etc. and just keep it simple. I call that responsible and honest business practices. Is that asking too much?? Afterall, all the information is available through your parent company from which you're derived anyway! You know when I purchased, you likley have my invoice information available, and I'm certain the serial numbers of the products are tracked even before they exit the docks. I've dealt with other merchants that respect me as a customer, and that's exactly how they're setup to do business. I'm loyal to them, and respect them as a vendor. I've got no respect for greedy dysfunctional pirates. I'm just one consumer, but the word is out. OnRebate's ratings on this site speak for themselves. Where do I sign up for the civil suit?"
"I would not recommend TigerDirect at all. Buyer beware!!! They conduct business in a manner that is not conducive to your best interest. Two major areas of concern for me when I think about TigerDirect encompass Rebates and Cancellations of orders. Never ever buy anything based on a rebate. Feel free to do a search on rebates relative to TigerDirect and you'll find a plethora of reasons why you should not base any purchase on a rebate from TD. Also, if you have any reason to cancel an order from TD, be sure you get as much information from the CSR before you hang up. (i.e., transaction numbers, their name, etc.) I tried to cancel a large order, was assured it was canceled, but it showed up anyway. The rebate was submitted and denied based on a best guess of which barcode was the right one. They were nice enough to send me a notice regarding this. I called the number on the postcard and instead of them telling me which one I should have sent, the CSR made me guess at it until he finally confirmed the correct one. I re-submitted it. That was a waste of time and effort. I never saw that $50, and don't suspect I ever will. I've moved on, and now deal with their competition. TD will never see another dime of my hard earned money. By the way, the company that manages TD's rebates is in fact just another company name operating under the covers of TD itself if I'm not mistaken. I should have just refused the order, but it was Christmas and it was meant to be a gift. Never again TD! Your ratings on this site based on the many customers you have abused speaks for itself. I tried several courses of action with TigerDirect, but they have set themselves up to be unreachable where it matters. In fact, their most blatant response was, if you're not fully satisfied, then just return it so long as it's not been over 30 days. C'mon, they knew exactly how long it had been, and that it had already been well over 30 days. Plus, a restocking charge! Get Bent TD! I've spent thousands since then, but not with you! If TD really respected their customers, they'd take a fraction of the money they spend on their elaborate website and design an online rebate site where you could just put in your transaction numbers, serial numbers, etc. and just keep it simple. Is that asking too much?? Afterall, you know when I purchased, you have my invoice information already, and I'm certain you track the serial numbers of the products before they even exit your docks. I've dealt with other merchants that respect me as a customer, and that's exactly how they're setup to do business. I'm loyal to them, and respect them as a vendor. I've lost all respect for TigerDirect. They're just plain greedy and dysfunctional in my book. I'm just one consumer, but the word is out.
UPDATE: As a result of this Forum, and the diligence of Adela Gomez at TigerDirect's Customer Satisfaction Department, I am updating my opinion. I have received a fair credit towards my credit card, and Adela also contacted "RebateZone" on my behalf in an effort to resolve the absence of my rebate. Adela mentioned that "RebateZone" is not a TigerDirect company, so my previous speculation stands corrected. I am happy to report that I have received both the credit and the rebate at this time. This satisfies me as a customer and therefore deserves this update and much credit to Adela Gomez at TigerDirect. Thank you Adela!"

"After placing an order for a Viewsonic 22" widescreen LCD for $318, Newegg placed this product on sale for $299. I promptly called their customer service early Monday morning and got hold of a representative by the name of Joseph. He was not only professional and courteous, he had no problem submitting a $20 credit to my account. In addition, I had also submitted an email for the same request which was also replied to the same day. I'm not used to this kind of service from my prior Tigerdirect.com vendor whereas; the paying customer doesn't appear to be all that much of a priority. This certainly is not the case with Newegg. This was a minor issue, but had it gone any other way, it's likely that I would not have been very forgiving for something so easy to satisfy. Two thumbs up for Newegg who's rating on this site speaks for itself, specifically by patrons like you and me. This is the second LCD monitor I've purchased from Newegg and the speedy delivery was simply unbelievable. Keep up the great work Newegg.com."
