Was thrown off by the reviews but decided to take a chance
"I have seen some pretty harsh reviews on a couple different sites but one of the things I did find is that there seemed to be resolution in most every case. The biggest issue seemed to be items promised in stock at the time of order only to find out that they were not. Now I have nothing to do with any of those experiences and am not going to say that those reviews were not fair but I did want to relay my experience. I found an item on Kotula's that was literally less than half the cost I found a similar item *everywhere* else. The item was listed as in-stock and after initially thinking it wasn't worth the risk, I ordered the product the next day. Lo and behold I received a shipping confirmation a couple days later but I wasn't going to count my chickens before they hatched. I watched as the transit progressed and the item eventually arrived at my door. I STILL withheld my joy until I opened the box to discover the product I ordered, opened it up and even spread it out on the floor (it was an outdoor patio mat). It was just as described on the site. Quality was even better than expected and even had a sewn tag showing Kotula's and Northern Tool which I didn't know were the same. Very happy with my purchase and will probably buy from them again. Not saying yours will be the same experience but my confidence in them has increased despite the other reviews and I personally am willing to give them another shot."

"The returns process for an incompatible part I received was cumbersome. I had to not only take multiple photos of the correct part and packaging, I also had to indicate in the pics (using a photo editor) why the part was wrong. Finally, had to provide a detailed written explanation about what was wrong. I find it hard to understand why simply providing my year, make and model wouldn't be sufficient. In any case, they themselves are a reseller of the manufacturer product so they were in essence, brokering the returns process between me and the manufacturer. The communication was good however and I eventually did receive the refund. I would probably buy from CARiD again because the other product I ordered was fine and the pricing was competitive for both items (even though, as I said, one was an incompatible part)."

"Very happy with the prompt response I received when I inquired on an item. I called them and placed my order by phone and wanted to confirm avaialbility. The customer service person was very helpful in helping me confirm the item because their website didn't have a product photo. My optic shipped fast and the transaction was trouble free. Got exactly what I wanted for a great price. Sorry to see so few reviews but hopefully they will keep up this great service and get many more satisfied customers."
