"Given the wealth of praise for Powernotebooks already I didn't initially add a comment when I made my purchase as I figured the ratings spoke for themselves. I needed to recontact them just recently though and I was once again so impressed with the quality of service that I now feel compelled to add my EUR0.02 about how this company really does go the extra mile further than the standard extra mile.
I live in France and so I expected the order to be a little tricky from the start. Fortunately I have a friend in the US who had agreed to receive the laptop on my behalf. I ordered a Sager 5650 Ultra and from the outset I was impressed by Donald's quick responses and desire to present me with all the options to help me make the best choice on the laptop that was perfect for my needs.
What really set them apart though was their willingness to do everything they could to make sure the purchase went through easily and that I was happy. Donald was only too happy to forward the additional funds I included with my payment to my friend in the States to cover the cost of express-shipping the laptop to Europe - something I had only sugggested on an overly-optimistic hope.
As if that weren't already convincing enough, I recently had need of my original invoice which I did not at the time have access to (for various reasons). I again optimisticly popped an e-mail off to Donald and in less than a couple of hours I had my original invoice once more.
Powernotebooks.com was by far my most expensive on-line purchase but also by far the most satisfying. There is a reason their rating is what it is - as if their products and prices weren't already brilliant enough, the service they provide is absolutely second-to-none - you simply cannot wish for a better on-line buying experience."

"I was on the point of purchasing a laptop from this company; wrote them an e-mail inquiring about the product and shipping prices; got a 1-line, all-caps reply quoting US overnight price twice as much as the cost of Int'l Priority to Europe, and no mention of the price of product I had requested. End of purchase."
