"I sent email to K-Var tech support, asking for details on a part, before ordering. They answered quickly and, once I had the part in hand, I found that they gave me the correct answer. I ordered a replacement rifle sight and two military surplus bags. One of those bags had a manufacturing flaw. K-Var sent me a return shipping label and replaced the bag at their expense. I appreciated the good customer service and the fact that they carry parts that can be very difficult to find from other retailers."

"I ordered a rifle from Atlantic Firearms after searching extensively all over my home state and on the web. No one was close to their price on the rifle I wanted. They shipped the rifle to a local gun dealer, as the law requires, at a very reasonable price. The rifle was properly packed and arrived in perfect condition. I emailed a question about the rifle after I received it. I got a reply, 24 hours later. If I'm shopping for another rifle or shotgun, I'll definitely check Atlantic Firearms."

"I love my local Home Depot and have been a satisfied customer for many years. My problem is with their online ordering. I ordered a multimeter that was the special buy of the day and marked 1/3 off. Home Depot shipped it and UPS lost it. So far, no problem with Home Depot. When I contacted them they offered a refund. I said I didn't want a refund, I wanted the item. They told me to order another one. When I pointed out that I would have to pay full price instead of the sale price, they offered me 5 percent off. Not much of a deal when the original price was 1/3 off. When I pointed this out, they sent me a form email telling me they were sorry they sold out of the item before I could buy one. Funny thing is, they are stilling showing in stock today. Apparently they didn't really read my prior email. Obviously their internet customer service is VERY poor. My wife just asked me to replace the exterior lighting and I'm shopping at Lowe's. On 12/16 Home Depot called me and offered to sell me the item at the sale price. Too late since I bought one somewhere else but since they tried I added a star for effort."

"In the past, I ordered these economy cow ears several times and I was 100% satisfied until this order. On the plus side, they arrived promptly and in good condition. The part I'm not satisfied with is that these ears are a LOT smaller than the ones I got in previous orders. I got about half as much for my money as I did on prior orders. When my supply starts running low I will place an order with another supplier."

"I ordered a router from them. Their web page said that it came with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. When the router arrived there was a page in the package that said there was a 30 day warranty. Since this is not what they advertised, I contacted Froobi and asked for a refund. They agreed to give me a refund but said I was responsible for all shipping costs. I asked them to reconsider paying the shipping costs since they didn't ship what I ordered. They refused, saying the their web site says that they don't pay return shipping. That would be understandable but their web site also said the item had a 1 year manufacturer's warranty and it does not. Since Froobi did misrepresent what they were selling and then refused to take responsibility for it, I will not order from them again."

"Until recently, I was a regular Kohl's shopper. On 9/27 I ordered over $100 worth of stuff. Kohl's told me they shipped it and gave me a UPS tracking number. A week later I checked that tracking number to see when it would arrive. The tracking number was bogus. Kohl's never shipped it. When I contacted Kohl's, they said there was a UPS problem so the merchandise couldn't be shipped. (It was clothing and sheets, not toxic waste) They offered a refund and I told them I didn't want a refund I just wanted them to fill the order. They said that wasn't possible and they would issue a refund. I communicated with FOUR different customer service reps and got the same story from each. It's 10/12 and I still don't have any merchandise and no refund has been issued to my Kohl's credit card. When I contacted customer service again to inquire about the refund, they said it took 10 to 14 business days to issue a refund to the Kohl's credit card. It only takes 1 day to post a charge. That bill is due on 10/13 and I'm not paying for merchandise they at first neglected to ship, and later, refused to ship. They've made it quite clear that customer service is not important to them and I won't shop with Kohl's again."

"I've done a little business with Geeks.com over several years. I bought two refurbished hard drives and when one of them died in the warranty period it was not a problem getting it exchanged. My last order was for a USB 3.0 hub. It came without an A/C adapter, which is REQUIRED to use it. Fortunately, I took the A/C adapter from another device and was able to use it. It actually works well. I added a review on the geeks.com web site saying that the product works well but that it should be disclosed in advance that it does not come with the required adapter. Geeks didn't publish it. For that reason, I won't buy from them again."

"I wanted a specific holster and Sportsman's Depot had it for the lowest price, including shipping. I ordered it on a Saturday and it was shipped Monday. No problems. The package arrived in good shape. I'm completely satisfied."

"I ordered 3 rugs from Overstock.com at about $135 each. Although I ordered 3 of the same thing, one rug was not the same color as the other 2. This may not be their fault since the label said it was the same color. --- Requesting a return is easy and they give you a preprinted shipping label. There was no option for exchange so I immediately ordered another rug. The second rug came and it was the wrong size AND the wrong color. The rug was labeled correctly, they just sent the wrong one. This time I was able to find an exchange option on the site. I sent the second bad rug back. While I was waiting for the next replacement rug, I was notified that I was being charged $20 for using the return shipping label they sent me. I contacted Overstock by email and they said this was a mistake and removed the charge. Today I got the CORRECT rug and I'm done with this order. It was a hassle but since Overstock is paying for the return shipping and I got 3 very nice rugs at a bargain price, I can't see why they shouldn't get a positive rating."

"You can buy racks a lot of places but Rack Attack is where I'll go the next time I need one. Even though the automatic rack finder on the web site works well and did recommend the right hardware, it recommended 2 different racks. It was the Rack Attack employee I spoke to on the phone that gave me the information on which was the best rack for my vehicle. To my surprise he recommended the one that was $50 cheaper. In his opinion, it was a better rack for my purposes. Add to this very competitive pricing and there is no reason to go anywhere else."

"I just received an order from Canoga Camera today. I've ordered from them several times in the past. When I opened the sturdy carton I could see that my merchandise was well protected by a load of styrofoam peanuts. Everything in the box arrived in pristine condition. Then it occurred to me. Every time I order from Canoga camera it is the same. I get exactly what I ordered, on time and in perfect condition. I've dealt with several other INTERNET camera stores but none have been as consistently reliable as Canoga. On top of this, they are very competitive in their pricing too. Canoga Camera is a class act. Updated - November 8, 2005 - The camera I bought stopped working. I called Canoga and they said they'd take it back as long as I hadn't sent in the warranty registration or cut the UPC off the box. I had not so I sent it back and ordered another camera. The replacement camera was here in two days and I just got the refund for the defective one. You can't ask for any better service than that! Oh yeah... I've put over 500 shots on the replacement camera and it works great."

"Tiger Direct does sell at competitive prices and provides pretty good service. Just don't fall for the "After Rebate" scam. I have gotten small rebates but twice I've been cheated out of larger rebates. One was $80 and the other one was $40. I did send in all the required info and kept copies. I still didn't get $120 in rebates. That did no good. Their rebate agent said they never got it. Funny how everyone else I've sent in rebate forms to in the last 20 years, has paid me what they owe. I've gotten $10 and below rebates from Tiger but can't get the large ones. I won't shop with Tiger again."

"B&H Photo is an honest dealer that offers reasonable prices, a superior web site and products that I can't seem to find anywhere else. When I need something for a camera that is hard to find, B&H is the place I go. The only problem I've had with them is their sluggish shipping. They use major shippers and will overnight your merchandise if you want to pay the price, but if you order by ground, they sometimes sit on the order for a few days before sending it."

Respectfully, we most certainly do not "sit on" a customer's order. We endeavor to ship every order within 24 hours (weekends excepted). Orders with rush shipping get the priority handling they deserve, but no one here has ever simply let an order lay about because rush shipping wasn't requested.

"I've made several purchases from 3Btech in the last couple of months and never had a problem. I got exactly what I ordered and it was shipped promptly and FREE! They aren't the cheapest place on everything but they are the cheapest on a lot of things when you factor in the free shipping."
