"BEWARE! Playstation operates their game site in a highly trickster unethical way. Warning to allgGrandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, & parents. NEVER, EVER use or loan a credit card (or especially a debit card which have no protections) for use with anything Playstation, online. Due to its huge size (SONY), gets away with online charge practices that would get a small business up on criminal Fraud charges. The Encyte hocus pocus "natural" sex enhancement founder and owner is in prison for doing something similar with credit cards. He offered free trials, demanding cards for shipping and handling charges, then "for your convenience" shipped six months worth, charged to your card. By the way this is a common scam now. TV advertised "free trials" meant to get your credit or debit card number for "shipping & handling" and then for "your convenience", auto shipping you product for top dollar and eccessive shipping fees. Playstation site makes it clear throughout the process that you can use a credit or debit card to place a specific amount into a "wallet" for a child or youth. You are supposed to think this is a one time charge for an online version of a gift card. NOT SO! NOWHERE and at NO TIME in front of you in the process does Playstation indicate that doing so LINKS your card to everything and anything the child does thereafter! I wondered why Playstation did not include a Paypay option and why they accepted debit cards. Now, I know. Because, they did not accept Paypal, I was very cautious and told my grandson I will put money in his "wallet" only if they accept Discover Card, as Discover Card has the best security department in the Credit business. Eight hours later, Discover security calls me to inform me that they put a temporary hold on my card because of some suspicious activity, a STRING of charges from Playstation to my card! They stopped them after three in a row, saving me hundreds of dollars. I am certain neither Visa or Mastercharge would have done this or called me so soon. Again I strongly advise people using Discover Card gives you an extra layer of security. For online, Paypal is best, then Discover. (Better yet is Discover's option (for card holders) of getting single use credit numbers is even better.) We can buy Playstation gift cards at stores like Walmart. Wnat to let a child have some money to use Playstation online? Get him a gift card. Playstation cannot stealth link your finances to a child's video gaming account by way of a gift card. My condemnation of Playstation is FAIR. Roku digital video player company is an example of an ethical practice. When you buy a Roku box, you connect to TV and your wireless system, and by registering. Part of registration is entering a credit card for streaming pay video. Roku makes it simple and clear you are linking your card AND Roku gives you a pin and a password. YOU CANNOT unknowingly be charged for a stream because BEFORE you can stream a pay stream or service, you are clearly told the cost and you MUST enter your pin (like a signature). You have an option to add a password requirement to prevent anyone other than you to get pay material. Playstation does absolutely none of this. They suck you in with what you are supposed to see as an online version of a gift card, what Playstation calls a "Wallet". See for yourself. DO not take my word for it! Go to the site and search for information about using your card to put money in a wallet. You will find "policies" buried in a totally separate area and it is overly detailed, complex and wordy. That my friends is slick legal "cover you rear" crap, not the practice of a respectable company you can trust. What I am saying is simple. Do not make the mistake of trusting you get fair play from Playstation. Keep your credit and debit cards in your wallet. Do not even think of using them online with anything Playstation, unless you first read hundreds of words of legalese policy because I assure you Playstation or your credit or debit card company will insult you by insinuating your loss is ALL YOUR FAULT for not reading the pages of policy (meaning for not having attended law school). Two ways to legally con people of their money. 1) fast talk and overly complex "package" mumbo jumbo (examples: Auto salesmen and Cable TV sales staff) and 2) lawyer written small print, detailed, jargon filled policy pages tucked somewhere."

"Buyer Beware. The giant company Comcast Cable TV, Internet, & Phone company, now trying to look like AT&T U-Verse with a new brand Xfinity is a highly profitable corporation dedicated to: Hype and Spin "Customer" Service centers (actually a euphemism for American Automobile Dealership Sales Thechnique Extraodinare). After a few encounters with a Comcast call center, you wonder if they are forced to use a unique Comcast dictionary. If you must speak with them (I advice staying away from Comcast altogether), insist they use U.S. English, not Comcast-ese. Here are some tips: "Package" means overly complex intentionally complex billing. Think Automobile salesman number mumbo jumbo, designed to make it look like you got a decent deal but the end paperwork contains surprise odd ball charges and fees which bring the minus amounts right back-in. Packages "Triple-Play" supposedly saves you money. Money compared to what? Who knows? Want to reduce your bill to something less than a car lease bill? Close your entire account, that will get their attention. You will be switched to a "retention" agent who suddenly speaks a different tongue. Hold out, Stand your ground. Let it go to making an appointment for a tech to pick up your hardware (yes, they can suddenly come to the house free of charge). Wait for the power player retention agent to ring you, everyday at the same time. Wait a few days. Then hint you may consider keeping Internet. Now we use our dictionary. Force a decent discount for Internet for 12 months. Now, get an RCA indoor digital antenna from Amazon ($16 to $24 free ship) and buy a Roku 2 Box for under $90. This beautiful tiny box does a great job of streaming video from Internet to your TV. It your TV was made this century, Roku can connect to it. Install the free Crackle, Internet Archive, Vangard, PubDHub, Netflix apps (Its very easy). For $7.95 a month stream an endless amount of movies, TV shows, documentaries, all higher quality than cable TV video. You will be surprised how many stations you can get now with a simple antenna and some stations have many new stations, Toledo PBS has 6 additional channels, all HD digital. Telephone? Use a minute cell phone and subscribe to Skype $2.95 a month unlimited calling US & Canada. Use it for calling out..."

"I'd hate to see the misleading "reviews" here to steer people away from an outstanding product and outstanding company that makes it. It is no accident that Roku steaming boxes dominate sales of Internet to TV video streaming products. If you seek a balanced rating and much better idea of Roku's line of Internet to TV streaming products, examine the hundred's of buyer reviews at Amazon.com and the Netflix wedsite. Netflix highly recommends their streaming customers consider a Roku box. It's tiny, uses an amazing tiny amount of power and is a vastly superior streaming appliance than any of the video game consoles or any bluray player or very expensive smartTV. I find customer service and tech support incredibly easy to get ahold of and the staff knows their product! Beware of people dedicated to bad mouthing every top retailer and every top product. Also, be aware that people with something negative to say are vastly more likely to "review" a product or a store. I was referred to Roku with my streaming questions by a Netfix technical support person who assured me "They are available on Sunday and you will not be on hold for long". She was absolutely correct. I've had a Roku 2 XS and all I can tell you is its a superb product made by a superb company. I immediately dropped my no service Comcast cable TV service, after I took my Roku through its paces. I wished other devices connected and remained connected to my Internet network as well as the Roku does and I wish I had other remotes as powerful and as instantaneous as the one I got with my Roku 2 XS. If you want a product that "Just Works". This is it. If these naysayers have you leery of buying direct from the Roku site, consider buying one from Amazon.com"

"iolo sells a good, solid Windows maintenance program called System Mechanic. It cleans and repairs the registry, does a superb job of defragmenting your hard drives, is a software uninstaller that is much better than the one that comes with Windows. I recommend the package and I did recommend iolo as an excellent company--until now. The product is excellent but I warn you here about their business practices, which appear to have changed significantly in 2011. You never truly know a business until it slides into hard times. That honest, reliable plumber or auto garage can suddenly go dishonest when the owner has two kids in college, gets into a drug or gambling habit, leaves the wife for a wild young thing or the business passes to the spoiled, overindulged children. The wise consumer must ever be alert! I purchased & used System Mechanic updates for several years. I always paid each year for updates as my expiration date neared. Over two years ago, I was offered a serious discount if I bought two years of updates. I accepted the offer. Shortly afterward, I stopped using System Mechanic as I evolved to using Linux 99% of the time, using Windows when I have no other choice. I always hated the giant monopoly but the horrible Windows Vista was the final straw for me. Recently, I noticed an unauthorized iolo charge to my Visa card for System Mechanic. I don't even have the program on my Windows 7 computers! I called what is supposed to be a customer service number that iolo lists with card companies. I got a answering machine and was very quickly given another customer service number. In my experience, when stand up companies try to slide automatic renewals on people they make it easy, for the few who check their credit card bills, to call and have them revoke the "for your convenience" unauthorized charge. When you get a run around phone number on your bill near the charging parties name, that usually means a run around will follow. I called Visa and had to close my account as compromised card and have a new card and number issued. If you decide you want system mechanic, do not use your credit card or a personal check. Pay by money order. In today's corrupt climate, using a check or a credit card on Internet is akin to granting power of attorney over your account. By the way, authorizing anyone to auto charge your credit card, Debit Card, or personal checking account is very unwise. You grant them the power to make withdrawals from your account. Ethical government would require business to explain this to consumers. Businesses (a lot do it anymore) that make auto charges to your account without signature permission from you should face criminal charges just as you would if you used someone else's credit card. And voters should remove from office every politician who reversed security responsibility from the financials and reworded it "identity theft". Make them return to issuing credit card accounts ONLY in person and with two pieces of photo identification and return to making merchants ID every use of credit cards and checking signatures. Identity theft has always existed but until this century, securing against what is called identity theft today was the responsibility of businesses, not individual consumers. By the way, I find the free CCleaner ( you can download it from: download.cnet.com) does the job just as well as System Mechanic anyway. CCleaner is so good its reduced the price point and sales for programs like System Mechanic"

"After researching quibids, I strongly advise people to avoid them. Do not even consider getting involved with them. (I think) What they do is neither auction or retail; its a bizarre form of gambling and they should be shut down by the Fed for 1) Misleading advertising (on TV, their site and across Internet) 2) Under laws against bait and switch as they make consumers think they are buying one thing (making true bids on true items for retail sale but they are actually gambling) 3) Shilling is illegal. Shilling is where an auction does something dishonest to artificially jack up bids such as plant a fake bidder among bidders who has no interest in buying and does not infact buy anything. Using a program to serve as a shill is still shilling 4) It is a felonious site under Rico, the law against organized crime. The staff has to know what the site does is criminal in order to perform their jobs, involving them in organized crime. They seem to violate fraud laws. People who have been cheated by Quibids should file a complaint with Their state Attorney general & perhaps the FTC, since it is organized crime across state lines and with the Post Master, as they violate US postal law by shipping the products when they are "won". It is a felony to use the mail system as part of a system to defraud people. Of course, I welcome Quibids to explain to us consumers here at Resellerratings how what they do is not fraud."

"I have sold on eBay and I've been a buyer for many years. Today, I find eBay better than its ever been for buyers. Until 2011, ebay was best avoided by the average shopper. It was a buyer beware market under former CEO Meg Ryan. Her replacement has worked hard to run off the bad sellers and his addition of the "Top Rated Seller" category has made eBay possibly the best marketplace of its kind for BUYERS. For instance, its extremely risky to buy items from Mainland China sellers off their sites and its risky to buy from them off Walmart, Yahoo, Amazon. At eBay, if a China located seller maintains "Top Rated Seller" status, its probably safe to buy from them. By safe, I do not mean you are guaranteed product quality, I mean honest transaction & reasonable shipping time. Not even Sears in its heyday could guarantee product quality for all it sold. No retailer today can do so. Buyers still must do their product homework. As for the complaints here from sellers. Sellers claiming eBay is no longer a good place for sellers go back at least 15 years. When I was selling and making good profits, failed sellers were moaning on eBay boards. Most people who try their hand at selling fail. If your downtown had a place for sellers to rant, you would hear how downtown isn't the marketplace it was, a seller cannot make a profit. eBay is no different than brick & morter business, many sorts of people try their hand at selling and most fail because they proved to be simply not cut out for business. Despite what a particular political party preaches, business requires hard work and special talent and special skills. Much like sports, many dream, many try it and many fail. Often, the bad seller lacks the savy and skills required to succeed in business, so he turns to dishonesty or shabby methods."

"Caution. Newspaper archive severely hypes their service. The site seems professional & impressive but there are unacceptable problems from the start. The best you can get to try them out (this should have alerted me but I haven't tried a pay database service like this before) is to sign up for a so-called 3-month trial for just under $10 a month and you are led to believe you can get chat assistance and cancel. You are not told or asked if you want them to auto renew your subsription "for your convenience" of course. You find out they do this only AFTER you submit your payment method. Fortunately, I used Paypal, which I do whenever I can doing online business. I know Paypal policies and features. I went into my account & disabled "scheduled payments" to the Archive After 30 minutes, I knew I made a mistake. I submitted several experimental newspaper searches and got nothing. I tried a newspaper I know is fully contained in an E database. What I found is this Archive is a turkey. Its data is very patchy. I searched names I know appear in many articles 1960 to 1972. I got a couple of target results, a lot of junk results for 1971 & 1972 and I got many results for different people and for two institutions only for 1910 -1915. I was able to test my results by running free trial runs at ancestry.com. There I got many on target results as I should have. Since they were free sample searches, you can read only a tiny amount of the results, enough to see if they are ones you seek. I tried several times over two weeks to get an agent online. Most of the time the box said "unavailable" Several times I tried to speak with someone. Never got an online connection. I sent many emails, never got a response. So, I am out $30 for 3 months of a useless service. I strongly advise you to stay clear of newspaper archive"

"I'm surprised to see no reviews here. Dell Financial is owned by Dell computer maker; it's the corporate leasing arm of Dell. Its been leasing and selling refurbished off lease Dell computers for several years. I know them through their online store at eBay. I've been buying through Dell Financial for about five years. So far, no complaints. Most recently I bought an off-lease refurbished Dell Latitude D630 laptop. It arrived within a week. For $217 I got a corporate quality off lease dual core, 2GB Latitude D630 that was in outstanding cosmetic and working condition. As with every laptop I've purchased from Dell Financial, I got a completely clear reinstall of Windows and no crapware. I got a new power cord\charger. For those who are not aware of this, corporate class computers are significantly higher quality build that are those made for the consumer market. Dell consumer market laptops have dropped in quality the past three years but Dell's corporate market laptops remain outstanding. I received my off-lease laptop in under a week even with free shipping. I live in Michigan. It shipped FedEx from Nashville. I recommend Dell Financial."

"A friend and I are into gadgets. We build our own quality computers for ourselves, friends, family members from basic refurbished and otherwise used systems. A few weeks ago we learned about GearXS. We were sceptical about them given their low prices for major brand name refurbished desktop systems, such as Lenovo and Dell. The average person has difficulty getting much for their, even like new, used system. This we know. We also know that corporate off-lease systems go cheaply, partly due to most buyers fear of buying used, partly due to PC maker hype (advertising). but it is unusual for a seller to ask reasonable prices for used PCs. Given box store competition, its not unusual for large sellers to make more profit from used PCs than from new ones.We are experienced buyers and thus know how to keep from being taken (always use a major credit card and know your card company charge back policy), so we decided to try Gearxs. We ordered a Lenovo PC for $89 for my buddy's mother. We were delightfully surprised. Gearxs shipped the computer free and it is exactly what we expected based on the Gearxs ad. We have referred some people to GearXS and they have been pleased with what they received. These purchases took place within the last 3 months. Be sure to read the specifications carefully. The lower priced systems are minus monitor, keyboard, etc. The Dells for $69 to $79 do not ship with memory sufficient for certain popular Internet activities such as Youtube video or movie streaming (need minimum 1GB. 2GB is better). You can order additional installed memory at purchase time. I recommend GearXS to people who want to get a quality home computer but who do not want to spend $500 or more for a new one. 7-30-2012 UPDATE Beware if you shop for a computer at GearXS. They recently switched from shipping with Windows XP and Vista to Linux. If you are one of the majority who doesn't know Linux be careful. When you ask if the PC still has the Windows sticker, you get a slippery answer. You need to know why these Windows PCs are shipping with Linux. If, like myself, you prefer Linux then there is no problem"

"I order shoes for my extended family members who work on their feet all day. quality shoes that fit properly are critical. And I order shoes for several family children from Joe's. I am impressed. I routinely place my free shipping orders and have them arrive within three days. I live over 1200 miles from Joe's New Balance. We save quite a bit on the price and always take advantage of free shipping. After Dozens of shoes, I've never received a wrong shipment. If I ever do, I'm sure Joe's will correct it free of shipping charges. I'll take buying high quality shoes from a superb online retailer over a local store with luck of the draw services anytime. Lower price. No shipping. Most important, With Joe's my family members NEVER have to settle for a shoe among the ones the store has in your size and no going to the next size up or down the scale to compensate for a shoe store not having the width you need. I am a 2nd generation business person and I've been a consumer advocate all of my life. I cannot think of a retailer who exceeds the efficiency or quality of service I get repeatedly from Joe's New Balance Outlet."

"Summary of eCost.com by a life long independently employed and small business man and consumer activist: eCost is rated low for service and for product condition here by over 1300 people, over a two year time span. Similar complaints about eCost are found all over the Internet. Complaints extend from early 2008 at CONSUMERAFFAiRS.COM.There are occassional positive comments. They tend to be extremely positive and unspecific. Having been a partner in an eBay online collectibles and used electronics enterprise with 100% positive feedback for five years, and a serious online buyer since 2001, I know something about both ends of online mail order retail. I look for patterns, percentages and time span. It is commendable that eCost has assigned a representative to monitor and respond to customer complaints that appear here at resellerratings. It shows that eCost recognizes it has problems and it shows they are trying to do something about them. Considering how far back complaints go and the percentage of bad experiences expressed here and elsewhere (at least three years), a discerning consumer must wonder at eCosts' response. Is eCost determined to repair its problems as are some retailers here or has eCost de facto decided to address issues that appear here at resellerratings.com? All I can conclude for certain is buyer satisfaction is guaranteed for those buyers who consult and post unsatisfactory service experience here at resellerratings. Also, I am concerned with the general style of eCost response to buyer complaints posted here. No problem can be solved unless the responsible party assumes responsibility for it. What I see here is deflection of responsibility & a lot of PR (public relations). In this competitive market, I need accept neither, not even for a low retail price. I can get both excellent prices and service the first time around 99.9% of the time from Amazon, NewEgg, Woot (owned by Amazon), geeks.com & Dailysteals. I'm not saying any of them are perfect (though Newegg comes close). What I am saying is they are well managed sellers and a buyer's probability of walking away pleased is reasonably high. For instance, Dailysteals has an agent here. DS accepts full responsibility for poor service and does something about it. It has a few wrinkles to iron out. I am convinced Dailysteals is determined to do so because it immediately addressed my complaint and my additional purchases have been smooth sailing. ..But Dailysteals does not have a low consumer rating or a pattern of poor service that extends back three years. It does not try to excuse its fumbles and their agent here is clearly empowered to solve service problems and thus is not forced to apply small bandaids and smooth PR to major wounds. In contrast, I'm unsure about eCost management's motives for assigning an agent to respond to complaints that appear at resellerratings. I will not buy from eCost until I see a better general rating emerge--not when I have several excellent alternatives. For people who decide to try eCost despite the consistent pattern of complaints here and ELSEWHERE, do not send a personal check or money order. Use a credit card and know your card's charge back policy, charge backs can be done 30 to 45 days from billing date, depending on the card. Know the correct toll free phone number for customer service. Be reasonable about your expectations and demands. But Do not wait weeks for a problem to be resolved. When you present a legitimate complaint (damaged or wrong product, paid for rush delivery but didn't get it, etc), give a clear deadline for resolution. You are on a clock (the days from the purchase date your credit card will do a charge back), so put the seller on a clock that is within your charge back deadline. If you are not made whole, get a charge back and be sure to ask your card company for a total refund, price of item, sales tax, shipping and handling. Note: companies I do considerable repeat business with do not charge until they ship. I have never billed anyone until shipment day or after services rendered were completed. UPDATE: BUYERS Read the buyer comments here and eCost agent's responses, my assessment of buyer comments here AND elsewhere on Internet. I name a specific site with many negative comments. Read the agent's Jan 31, 2011 response to my assessment. It is exactly what I expected, smooth & polished spin. Look over some of my other reviews here at Resellerratings. You'll see my assessments are conservative, factual, balanced. I will not buy anything from eCost until (or when, if ever) I see marked change in the percentage of negative comments they get from buyers. In the eCost agent's response to me, there is clearly & precisely the failure to take responsibility that I mention in my Assessment above. I am insulted by the claim that the complaint rate is very low. If it is anywhere near as low as eCost claims, why are the number of negatives inordinately high here and elsewhere across internet?"

"I've ordered Walmart Site to Store for three years now. I like it. I've had no problems. This year I ordered some Walmart online only, package mail only items for Christmas presents. I was impressed by how swiftly they arrived. Walmart online includes buyer comments or reviews & it does not appear to exercise any editorial control. I've read some harsh complaints about slow shipping from site to store. I would ignore them unless the buyer states exactly how long s\he has been waiting or how long it took. You also need to know the Walmart Store location. Walmart is a huge coorporation. You can be sure that a huge company is going to have a few poorly running stores or a poorly run region. You need to know when. A store or region is not likely to remain permanently poorly run. I would dismiss out of hand a buyer who claims "no one cared. No one would look into my problem". Just ask yourself, can you truly imagine any Walmart general manager ignoring a legitimate customer that an ordered product has not arrived & floor level staff will not help? In the rare one off that a person runs up against a manager who is losing it (and thus is on his way out), can you imagine his boss or the corporate office ignoring a complaint like that? Walmart Online could improve. They have several different systems going on @ Walmart Online. There is site to store (which involves no shipping charges). There are many online only items for which shipping is charged. There appear to be a few other categories that are not at all clearly explained. There are retailers similar to Amazon marketplace sellers and there are retailers and order fullfillment sellers whose status Walmart does not explain. Meanwhile, I would make sure I order only directly from Walmart. The confusion extends to the level of individual items. You can buy an item assuming Walmart is the seller, only to learn after you receive it that some other entity sold it to you. Walmart really needs to upfront clearly explain the different ways buyers purchase items and item descriptions must consistently indicate whether or not its being sold directly by Walmart. Finally, Walmart needs to fire the executive who came up with the goofy 1980s Kmart "idea" to sharply limit choices in their stores. Just I found decreasing reason to visit a Kmart store in the 1980s and 1990s, I rarely ever visit a Walmart store anymore. If it weren't for the choices and prices offered Online by way of site to store, I would not shop Walmart at all."

"I began buying from Cowboom this summer (2010). I bought an open box Playstation 3 bundle for a really good price & free shipping. I was impressed. Most recently, I bought an open box Nintendo DS Lite minus the stylus(Nov 26). Service was excellent, shipping prompt. I've been a Dealtree customer for a several years (the company that operates Bestbuy Outlet @ eBay.com & Cowboom). I've had nothing but excellent results from the Outlet (on eBay) and from Cowboom. I suspect the few extremely negative buyer comments they get come from buyers who range from unreasonable (or are simply wackos) to buyers who do not read product descriptions or shipping terms. I was partner in a used electronics & collectibles business on eBay for several years. We maintained a 100% positive feedback rating. We did so only by giving refunds we should not have. Most of our buyers were stand up but we got enough unreasonable wackos to lower our rating to about 95%. So, we "paid" them with refunds to keep our ratings high. I've read thousands of buyer feedback, comments, & "reviews" over several years. There are kooks who make sure every online business and every product has at least one extremely negative review. I've come to suspect any large retailer that doesn't have a few extremely negative reviews. Whether positive or negative, I look for detailed information and some indication in reviews that the buyer actually used the product before posting a review. Most extremely positive reviews come from buyers who haven't even taken the item out of box yet! Then, there are many reviews with garbage that has nothing to do with the transaction: "I bought this as a present for my father on a rainy Sunday afternoon..." I cannot tell you Cowboom IS excellent. I can say I've purchased several big ticket items from them and I got exactly what I thought I would get based on the Cowboom description. Packing and shipping has been consistently excellent."

"In my experience with Newegg, it deserves the high reputation it has among tech professionals & tech enthusiasts. I'm been a customer for ten years. I am impressed with Newegg's consistently excellent prices, service & efficiency. For instance, on Dec 4 I ordered a Playstation 3 deal. Despite free shipping, I had it by Dec 9 and this is my normal experience with Newegg. (I live in Michigan) An unintended benefit are the exceptionally good buyer comments or reviews, many written by tech professionals. Most feedback elsewhere is useless. At Amazon.com, for example, you must wade through dozens to find a single useful "review". The Newegg buyer community is exceptional. I've saved considerable money and headache by reading product reviews, which tell you how good certain low priced products are --if you just download and use etc firmware update, this driver, etc. I strongly recommend Newegg"

"This is an update of the review I posted Nov 2010. I have had nearly a year as a Dailysteals customer. My first impression was negative but after I posted my issue here, the rep addressed it. I have made many buys since that time with no complaints until now. Oct 18, 2011 I ordered a set of TWO earbuds. I received one set. Obviously, they were packaged two pair to a plastic bag. Mine was cut open and there was only one pair. I reported this immediately. Two days later I got a reply from customer service apologizing for "the damaged product". I was instructed to send a photo. I replied I cannot send a photo of a missing set of earbuds and I hoped I was not going to need to post this problem at Resellerratings in order to get it resolved. I got a reply apologizing and reporting my ear buds are in the mail. It's Nov 8 and I still do not have my ear buds. I mentioned last Nov that I hope I do not discover that Dailysteals customer service worked only because I posted my problem at Resellerratings. You decide. I'm aware of delivery & customer service complaints against DailySteals,so I tried them out with a small order. I ordered 11-26-2010. Item still hasn't shipped. DailySteals claims they encountered a "glitch" but I learned of it ONLY after I asked why my credit card was charged but my order had not shipped. I pointed out a form email notice should have been sent out right away. Then, first time buyers like myself might still order more items, as we wait for the first item. I also expressed disapproval that my card had been charged when they knew there is a problem. One more week of this and I do a charge back, which will cost Dailysteals. I used Paypal, which charges sellers all the fees again when they get a credit card charge back & Paypal isn't big enough to stop credit card charge backs. Note: buyers only have 30 to 45 days to do a charge back. Make sure you know your card's policy. I was not offered a refund. I think I'll stick with Cowboom & Amazon. They deal straight up with buyers! UPDATE: Dailysteals emailed me a few days after I posted this review. They referred to my criticism & asked me to call them or contact them by email. I opted to see what they will do, so I did nothing. I then received an item shipped email notice. It arrived 12-20-2010 & I then ordered a slightly more expensive deal of the day. At this point, I would increase DailySteals to 3 checkmarks. If I had not reviewed them here, would I have my item? They do deserve a higher rating because they did reply immediately to my emails and they did respond to my criticism here. A single check retailer would not bother with resellerratings at all. Update. Ordered second item 12-21-2010. Shipped 12-24-2010. Received 12-29-2010... Considering, its near Christmas, the heavy snowfall between me and Dailysteals warehouse, inefficiency of government unionized postal service with fat cat executives that are above accountability, Dailysteals incredible low prices on quality products, and shipping times of other sellers, I think Dailysteals did good. I raise my rating a checkmark, keeping it one check down because I have no way of knowing if my posting at resellerratings is the reason for my much improved service. They deserve my new rating because no seller has constant flawless service. What separates the top sellers from the mediocre and the good from the bad is what a seller does about problems when they arise. I hope Dailysteals EXTENDS the PROBLEM SOLVING THEY DO HERE to COMPLAINTS that COME into the DAILYSTEALS SITE. Otherwise, top service is only guaranteed to the few buyers who post here and that would not be great customer service but merely SlICK IMAGE CONTROL! invoice 380584 order date 11-24-2010"
