"I bought a digital code for a video game on Xbox. The webpage says orders are usually processed and sent within an hour. Well I waited a day, then contacted support, who said that it may take an additional 1-3 days to process. Once processed, the code is sent within an hour.
The year is 2020. We should have computers automatically processing these orders and sending out codes. Not humans. It's not like I haven't ordered from Newegg before. I've been a customer for years. Just buy these digital codes from Microsoft directly next time, not worth the few dollars I saved."

Sean P, either an employee or owner of the store, emailed me to let me know that the shipping for my playground was delayed. He apologized for the inconvenience and offered me a partial refund for the trouble. Wow, that kind of customer service just doesn't happen anymore. I was really appreciative of the abrupt communication and offer to make things right even when I didn't complain. I highly recommend that you support this small business. I'm glad I did and would buy from them again."

I ordered a very expensive Vitamix blender, and it took two weeks to arrive. I was never notified of the delay in shipping. When I brought up that I was disappointed in the lack of communication, their customer service team blamed me for not reading the "ships from manufacturer" icon on the webpage, even though the page said that it takes "1-2 days of processing time."
All I wanted was a commitment to try to improve communications, this company had a great opportunity to apologize and say they hope to improve communications next time. Instead, they were unprofessional, used an all cap response when responding, and blamed me for not seeing the "ships from manufacturer" icon. Truly unprofessional and passive aggressive.
Never shop from them, ever."
"Opticsplanet is great if they have what you want in stock. That is a big IF. I got some maxpedition gear at a great price, but I had to wait a month and a half for them to ship. Why do they have items listed for sale if it is not in stock? That sounds like one big dropship operation to me. Nonetheless, the price was great, customer service promptly responded to all my emails, however the representative "guaranteed" my item would be in stock on a certain date and it wasn't. I didn't like being lied to. My biggest complaint is that they list items that may not be in stock for over a month and their "guarantees" are worthless. Shop elsewhere, dealing with OpticsPlanet just to save a buck isn't worth it."

There was one thing that I was a little annoyed with and that was with the lack of communication. The particular item I ordered was on backorder, but I didn't know about this until a few days after I had made the order, my status was still "awaiting shipment." I sent an email asking about an appropriate ETA, and a response was received very promptly which was nice. The gentleman said it would take about a week for the items to ship. True to his word, after a week the items were shipped.
All in all a good deal, would do business with them again. Other than the lack of communication about my order being backordered, they were pretty good."
