Horrible experience, horrible policies, and horrible customer service.
"Very disappointed! I was looking for some refrigerators and came across this vendor. I should have read other reviews before ordering but you know when you see a good deal you want to jump. I ordered two convertible refrigerator/freezers at an excellent deal, I mean really excellent, too good to be true as it turns out. So I got the order confirmation, and then shortly after, I get a "sorry to inform you..." message about a "glitch" in the system that has resulted in the order being cancelled. So, after I ordered the products, after waiting a few days at the same price point, they claim something happened in shipping. My payment was still processing with my bank so I know the order went through. I spoke to customer service in an effort to re-order the items at the same price but "price is subject to change".
After 2 weeks of trying to resolve the issue speaking to multiple people, the issue was finally put to rest. We spoke to company representatives who said they would call us back, but never did. We "just missed" the employee who actually gave their name, several times stretching the process out longer. Finally, they offered a price that was still way beyond what the initial price we bought the products for. Their excuse was that it was an "error" except that the price I purchased the product for was on the website for several days and was only an "error" once we bought the product. This company was not willing to accept their mistake, because, "We need to make money". Understandable, but again, as with other reviews from other customers, they lost this customer for life. I don't care if they are advertising something the cheapest price, I will not buy from Global Industrial again. They'd likely have another "glitch" if the price was a good one anyway. Horrible experience. Stay away from this company."
Really bad experience . They Epic Sports loses a customer.
"I will first own up to my part in the situation. I did not read the return policy thoroughly. I have ordered from Epic Sports several times before and always had good experiences. This situation was completely different. I ordered some Basketball jerseys for a practice team. I ordered adult small, which had typically fit but in this case, did not fit an 11 year old girl and 13 year old slim boy. I tried to return the product with the intention of purchasing a new set. I corresponded with Francisco who said that they would do the return, so inconvenient but okay. I wanted to be real careful so I called the sales department. After spending over an hour on hold over 3 different calls, I finally got someone on the phone and asked them how the jerseys I was intending to buy fit. He said, "I don't know" and directed me to the measurements on the website. Problem is that I used the measurements on the website to determine my last order, the one where the jerseys did not fit right.
So, back to the story. I take another chance, this time having measured my players to determine the appropriate size. I order the jerseys, then Francisco from Epic Sports emails saying that he made a mistake on the return and Epic would not be able to do the return. So I have another shipment on the way and a pack of 13 jerseys that I cannot use. They send me a RMA for the jerseys that I just bought, that I actually wanted to keep, but I am still stuck with the small jerseys. So basically I am done. It was a horrible experience. I just sent the replacement jerseys back. It is a shame that they could not just understand that old saying, "The customer is always right" and be flexible with their returns. I will no longer buy from Epic Sports and will not recommend them to anyone else."
