"Their shipping rate is ridiculous and their shipping speed to me in CA for an in stock item was twice as long as their usual expected delivery because they shipped it from the NV to the east coast and back to the west coast. What makes things worst is if I refused the package because it will take half of month to deliver it to me, I will still need to pay the high shipping charges. Don't be tempted by Provantage’s low cost (before high shipping charges). My advice is shop with Amazon.com. They know how to take care of their clients and ship things efficiently."

"I agree with the previous person. Newegg alone with Amazon by far has the best customer service around. I just place the few days ago (have not received it yet) and today there is a 20% cash back using paypal. I want to take advantage of this promotion so I wanted to cancel and replace the order. However, it item was shipped out today so it was too late to cancel. Newegg clearly disclose there 15% restocking free on ALL returns. I don't like this policy but I guess it helps keep prices low. To make a long story short Juan Flores told be just refuse (not return) the package and I will get a FULL refund. Enjoy shopping and don't forget the 20% promotion."

"Dell use to have good service many years ago, but now they are terrible. I use to spend over $10,000/year at Dell, but now I do not trust their customer service anymore. Once I wanted to return an item and a rep told me they will give me a full credit and also credit for the return shipping. I got an authorization number for each credit. Two month later I looked at my credit card statement and noticed that they did not issue wither credit. I call Dell back and they said they do not issued full credit and they do not give credit for return shipping. I ended up disputing with my credit card. Bottom line is you cannot trust Dell anymore and their product is cheap."

"I ordered a Connect3D 2GB Secure Digital Card that was advertised for FREE after rebate. The company is bankrupt and I never got the rebate. Buy.com is fully aware of the situation. Buy.com chose to use this supplier (after doing their due diligence) but, as of now, is not taking the responsibility for dealing with crooks in this rebate scam. I am curious how many people got ripped off. If enough people got rip off, a class action law suit against buy.com and its top executives might make sense. Then they have to waste a lot of time and money defending themselves."

"I placed an order for some memory on May 2 and tried to cancel the order a few days later. They said the order had shipped so they cannot cancel it. I then ask if I can refuse to accept it and they said if it gets returned for any reason (even if it was not open), they will not accpet it. And if they did accept it, they will charge a 15% restocking fee even if it was unopened. There return policy sucks. UPDATE: They called me and clearified a few things. After reading my situation described above, they will send me a return label and once they receive the item back, they will issue a store credit for the full amount. This is much better than the 15% restocking fee but not as good as a refund. This is one of the few online stores that will not issue a full refund on unopened return items. I hate store credits. If you know 100% sure what you want and you don't make human errors, then this store has competive on memories. Although their return policy is not very good, since they called me back and were willing to work things out, I am upgrading my rating by one notch."
