"Ordered ASUS EN9800GTX+ DK/HTDI/512M graphics card. Price in shopping cart was $199.99 -$10.00 Instant, -$49.99 Saving, for a total of $140 (that price was shown right in the shopping cart. In addition, it qualified for a $30.00 Mail-in Rebate from Asus.
THEN NewEgg ADDED, without my permission, a $49.99 game, calling it NVIDIA GIFT - OEM. I could not delete it. I did not want it. There went my $49.99 Saving.
NewEgg tells me the $49.99 Saving was the free game. That is not how it showed in the shopping cart; the graphics card price was quoted at the end as $140. I offered to return the game for a $49.99 refund, but they said no, it is free. I am still trying to get the promised $49.99 discount on the graphics card, and they have stopped responding to my emails. WATCH OUT for their misleading advertising on their site!!!

Shortly after I wrote this review I had an online chat with NewEgg, and after some discussion NewEgg agreed to refund the $49.99. I am now satisfied with their service, although it took a lot of effort to reach that satisfaction."

"Service was fairly fast and efficient, though I wish Priority Mail was an option for shipping, as shipping cost me more than the item I purchased and 3 times as much as Priority Mail would have cost."

"My only complaints with this company is that they will not ship to Hawaii via Priority Mail at anywhere near the actual postage cost, and they will not credit their Hawaii customers with the amount they spend to ship free to customers in the 48 contiguous states. If it costs Meritline $5 to ship to Chicago, they should credit Hawaii customers $5 against the shipping charges to Hawaii. Better yet, they should just ship free to Hawaii as they do to the other 48 states."
