"I ordered a battery for my camera on March 10th, website said it was available and estimated ship day was March 11. Needed battery for a trip leaving today March 21st. Today, March 21st, I get a notification my order has shipped with a estimated delivery date of April 9th. I should have read the other reviews, as this is common for ebatts. Clearly not a very honest retailer, find someone else to buy your batteries from. I am now concerned I will even get what I ordered."

"I have ordered from NewEgg in the past with no problems. I ordered yesterday, simple order, two items. Next day I find four order confirmations, they send you an order number and email for each item (confusing). The online web page correctly shows items and qty. Somehow there system duplicated the items on my order. No big deal (I thought) I called first thing in the morning to have them cancel the duplicate items. The rep gave me the runaround saying she could not cancel some of the items, due to them coming from a 3rd party (not Newegg) and that I would have to go thru an RMA process. How ridiculous. I told the rep to cancel the entire order if they could not fix there mistake. The rep said she would, but did not. She only cancelled on item on the order. Since I only got an email notification for cancellation of one item, I contacted a rep in the evening. This rep confirmed only one item had been cancelled and said she would cancel all items and contact UPS to return any items once they ship from there 3rd party (they had not shipped, why they could not cancel with the 3rd party who knows). Newegg did charge my credit card immediately on placing the order, even though nothing had shipped and seemed incapable and unwilling to cancel dupe items which had not shipped. 1/21/09 - Based on the feedback from this site, NewEgg did contact me and is making every effort to correct the order."
