"I've been a newegg.com customer now for several years. They are the first place I look when purchasing computer hardware. My most recent purchases are a new video card and a power supply.
What i love about Newegg is that they almost always ship the same day and i usually get the item the very next day. You just can't beat that.
Their web site is easy to navigate. They have great customer service reps (both by phone and by live chat).
I just can't rave more about them. To me there is really no reason to look anywhere else.
One last thing to mention is that many other online vendors are happy to take your order for an item but don't tell you up front that they don't have the item in stock. Newegg on the other hand seems to have very accurate inventory status on their site. If it says that it's in stock i can believe them, unlike some other online vendors.
I have told all my friends, relatives, and business associates to get all of their computer hardware at newegg. They are all very happy that i referred them to newegg."

"This is my second order from Tiger Direct. The first one has shipped no problem and i'm satisfied with that order so far.
The problem is with the order i placed last night. It is for an Athlon 64 X2 4400/ Windows XP64/Farcry combo. When i placed the order it said "in stock". Now when i look at my order is says that the CPU is backordered. In fact if you go to the combo on their site it still says that it's in stock. The reason i placed the order is the fact that it was in stock. The link to the bundle is:

I hope they update the site so that other people know the true status of the items.
UPDATE: 6/25/05: Since this post i have been in contact with the Tigerdirect representative that frequents these boards. He has refunded my shipping fee and changed the shipping to overnight. I appreciate these changes. The Tigerdirect site still says that the processor is in stock and my order still says that it's backordered. I would like to know for future purchases with them that their site shows the true real time inventory.
I could have already had the processor from another vendor who did have it in stock (confirmed)but I wanted to give Tigerdirect a try and like i said, my first order was perfect. I do appreciate the free shipping and overnight shipping when the processor does come in stock but my system build is now delayed due to this."
