"I was so pleased with Unity Electronics with all of the great deals i had purchased from them, until. I purchased a 750gb HD from them for a customer and when i was able to meet with the customer the drive was out of warranty before testing it. The drive came from the factory with an error code and Unity will not replace it. I could have gotten a better product and service from another supplier without the loss of $50. All of the savings has gone out the window due to one failed purchase and that negates any good rating i might have had for them in the past. DO NOT BUY from Unity Electronics as you will get ripped off and it is not worth the trouble. It is enticing, but stay away."

"This is my second order from Summit Source and they supplied exactly what i ordered in a timely fashion and thankfully at a good price. I am also pleased that the product is also of good quality and that is a pleasant surprise as well. It is nice, they do not have bogus shipping charges like some companies now use, to make up for the low price of a product. I highly recommend Summit Source as a reliable resource for your needs. "DO NOT BUY HERE. AVOID THEM AVOID THEM. Unfortunately i got ripped off big time. I ordered a Nikon D300s body, and Panasonic HS300, was hoping to get a 80-200 or 70-200 Nikon lense of which neither were available. So he promised me a high end Sigma lens which he pointed out on their web site. That did not arrive and when i called back he pointed me to another lense which was supposed to be a high end lense by his description and the price shown on the web site. The web site showed a price of $899 for the lense which every where else is $209. Worse yet, the lense i got was one i already owned not knowing it was the same as what i already had. I spent almost $4000 for what i could have gotten much cheaper through any retail company. I am not done yet, but the extra small stuff that i received, they claimed were of much higher value and cost than what i would find elsewhere, all not true. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY here. Order from Amazon, or B&H or some well known company. randy"

"I have ordered from Star Micro numerous times with excellent results. I always get what i ordered within a few days without fail. The only blip i have this time is with the memory i ordered. i got two that were alike and the other two were dissimilar. It is usually best when you get pairs that are the same. Minor issue, otherwise i have no complaints. Good price and good dealer. randy ================================================= March 6, 2010 order Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience for two reasons. The main one is that i lost a customer as a result of an order that took 13 days to receive. Sorry but no excuse. Second, is that i had no convenient way to get customer support since they close so early and email was not accessible when responding to the orders email i received. i have an unconventional schedule, which does not help time wise to make a call during normal business hours. I am terribly disappointed. Not sure how i will recover from the customer loss and now i have product i do not need. Will i purchase again, possibly, but i will double check my resources before making the next purchase. I definitely will not make a purchase when a customer is waiting for results. Sorry guys, you failed me this time and i am not sure what to say, other than customer service is foremost and number one on my list. Think twice, randy"

"After writing the review below, the following day i received a call from a very concerned manager, Kevin. he was concerned that my review was so negative. My experience has not changed, but the interest by Kevin certainly is a plus and a quality that is not found in all stores. I mentioned my second battery being bad and he is making that good with a new replacement sent out immediately. He also offered and has given me a $20 store credit to keep my business and yours in the future. He also said that he would be talking to the specific salesman that i dealt with and i assume to resolve how he deals with the customer in the future. he asked me to update my review here and so i have done so. Will i consider buying here, YES, but i still say be alert to the salesman and buy only what you want. randy My Experience was as follows: Well, other than receiving what i ordered in a reasonable fashion and with a pretty good price, i would say other wise DIS-satisfied. 1. was upsold on what i wanted by a fast talking salesman. 2. was sold cheap merchandise in a package deal that i really was not interested in. 3. pushy salesman 4. advertised one price and made another available. 5. This is what is considered the worse kind of sales. 6. Ordered online and was still called to make and push the sales further. No i am not happy other than my product works just fine. The secondary battery i ordered does not hold a charge. If you get exactly what you want and no more without being pushed, than it might be okay. Would i consider them for another purchase, maybe. If a salesman tries to be pushy the next time, it will be a cancelled order for me. randy"
