"I've always found Amazon.com a great place to buy from. Their return policy is the very best, and I've never had any problem with returnsing an item with them. And, their prices are very competetive so, why would I shop anywhere's else?.."
"I've been purchasing online for over 7 years, and this one's a doozy...
I ordered a Sandisk 256 MB Compact Flash memory card from "upgrade nation".
And, just a few minutes ago, I received via UPS a Toshiba 256 MB Compact Flash memory card from "Downgrade nation"...
This is real cute....who the heck are these people? Dont tell me this was a mistake.....Their email confirmation to me stated "Sandisk".....Their packed invoice to me stated "Sandisk".
AND, I read here at "Resellerratings", that their rating is "superb", at least that's how I interprate this rating stuff..
No, I'll not return the Toshiba card. I just checked the card out in my camera and card reader, and it works, so far....
Of course this was the first time, and the last time I'll deal with this incompetent company..."
"Last week, I placed an order for a digital camera with Adorama in NYC. The salesman was unsure if he had this camera in stock, even though their website said they did.
Since the website made no mention of what came with the camera, I asked the salesperson that question: He said "everything"..
I could sense he was getting impatient with me, even though I was only talking to him for about one minue.
After 4 day, I called the ask if my order had shipped, and they said no, because they were on holiday. He agreed to ship.
Two days later I called and asked if my order had shipped, and they said "yes"..
Two days later, I get an email saying that the camera "was sold".
Each salesperson I talked to was abrupt, impatient, and a bit confused.
You know, I really should no better than to place an order with "professional amateurs".. Its my fault, because, after I had placed the order with them, about 5 days later, I check your site to see how they were rated, and it was "dismal" to say the least.
Yes, my fault for not doing what I tell anyone who wants to purchase online, and that's FIRST check them out on 'RESELLERRATING.COM"..
Yes, I know this comment sounds like it was written by the owner of your company. So, luckily my order was "supposedly" already SOLD. Dealing with Adorama is a bit similar to an "experiment in horror"
A strange thing: I really enjoyed looking at their website's interface. Really nice, but down deep, extremely deceiving.
'buyers beware"....how do they continue to stay in business?????"

"I ordered a Canon Rebel XT camera from buydig at about 3pm tuesday, and got it thursday at about 4:30pm.
It took two days exactly, which made me quite happy. I've done business with buydig.com before, and had the same great experience.
I could have gotten the camera a few dollars cheaper from another seller, but their rating on resellerratings was a bit less than stellar, so I went with buydig.com, and never looked back...
Of course, I'll do business with them, as long as they're rated well....
I might add that if it were not for "rellerratings.com", who knows where most of us would end up when purchasing online.
The "horror stories" would multiply if not for "resellerratings"..
So, I applaud this wonderful company, which gives us consumers a super great helping hand when purchasing an item online.
God Bless America and resellerratings.com.....many thanks to you..."
"I'm surprised to read some of the dissatisfied ratings ink4Art received.
I've used them for about one year, and I've had very little problem with their ink.
One a few occaisions, I've had to throw out a problematic a cartridge, but I figure that since their prices are much cheaper than the "generic", I can live with that.
I'm starting to run low on ink, and may or may not buy from them again. But, I cant really low rate them at all.
Maybe the next batch might give me a problem....."
"I purchased 50 blank dvd media from Americal which came to 88 cents apiece.
I've burnt about 30 disks so far, and have had no problem.
I'm surprised there's been no other ratings on this company.
Of course, I made sure before I purchased from them, that the disks were compatible with my computer.
My optical drive verified that it would go well.
I'm happy....so far...."
"Nothing has changed since my last complaint with this most incompetent store.
A few days ago, I purchased printable dvd's, and I paid cash. I was in and out in no time. They were quick to take the cash.
When I got into my car, I realized that these dvd's were not "hub printable", so I quickly made a U turn back to the store for a refund...
The cashier told me I had to take it to "returns", when at that moment, I had realized what had happened to me about a year and a half ago, or so....
Sure enough, when I got to the "return" dept, the cash register immediately "broke down", and was then asked to fill out my name rank and serial number.
Listen......a "return" should be as quick, and efficient as possible. And, the only reason I buy at Compusa is because I'm an "idiot".......
I really should have know better than to shop at that store, after the previous "return dilemma" I had had with them previously...
So, "idiots Unite".....Beware of your "returns", lest you are prepared to accept the worst scenario of Compusa's incompetant return policy......"
"I owe Prism Ink an apology.
About an hour ago, I rated them poorly, based on the delivery problem of UPS.
I have JUST received the 12 ink pack from them. And all seems to be in order.
Prism Ink did take over one week to deliver, but that could have been UPS's problem.
It it was, then, Prism Ink should look into other delivery options.
But, PI's prices are extremely "LOW", so only you, have to determine, whether the savings is worth the wait.
Again, I humbly apologize to Prism Ink, for writing a poor rating of them.
And, YES, I do believe that I'll do business with them again."
"December 7, 2002, I purchased a Compact Flash card from MacMall, and today, December 9, 2002, I received it. The 128mb flash card was only 1 1/2 by 2 inches long, but the box it came in was big enough to stuff a case of potatoes in it. MacMalls price for the flash card was great, and just about the lowest on the internet. My only question is that there's a rebate with this purchase, and I would think that a rebate form would have been in the box with the compact flash. So, I went to MacMall's website, and downloaded the rebate form.
Before I ordered from them,I check them out on "Resellerratings", and it didn't look too good to me, but, I decided to give them a try, and they came through, as quick as a flash. So, my small purchase was fine, but, I'll know for sure if I get the rebate money back in a "fair" amount of time."
"Last thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, I ordered four (4) Canon S330 digital cameras from B&H, and today, Dec 9, 2002, I received them. Prior to that, I had telephoned their Customer Service on three different days to get some info on my purchase, and each time the response from the B&H reps. was excellent. And their price for the cameras was just about as low as I could find on the internet.
I was down to their store last year, in NYC, and bought a Sony TRV 17 digital camcorder with a Zeiss lense, and am delighted with the camera. So far, B&H seems to be quite "consistant" with their proper dealings with customers. I would most certainly recommend B&H to anyone at this time."
