"Ordered the Nokia 6700 classic black unlocked phone on 7/1. On 7/6, I was emailed that the phone is on backorder for 10 - 14 days and asked to consider switching to the chrome color or cancel the order. I emailed back to cancel unless definitely available in next 10 - 14 days. On 7/8, I received notice that the order was cancelled. I was never charged for the phone.
It is turning out to be frustrating ordering unlocked phones from online retailers, who can't seem to keep their online stock status up-to-date (the phone is now out-of-stock). Still, I appreciated the prompt and professional communication, and just as importantly, that they did not charge my credit card without verifying item availability. I may order from them again."

"Have purchased from this retailer multiple times in the past 5 years. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff, easy to work with, and fantastic to buy from. "Smooth first purchase of two in-stock PVC figures from this retailer. Would have preferred extra cushioning (figure boxes fit snugly inside delivery box, which would have been poor protection if box had been dented in transit; luckily not in my case), but otherwise, a perfect transaction."

"Purchased a gift in late 2005, a very large print, framed. Experienced no problems with the order; received order confirmation and notification of sendout within a week of order entry, got item just over one week of order entry.
Double-packed in heavy corrugated cardboard. Site was easy to navigate, immense selection, nice feature for testing out how print will look on different frames and mattes. Prices are high."

"I have purchased multiple times since 2003 but exclusively during their sales, which represent fairly good deals. Important to note that for sales, they never stock enough of the sale items so don't expect to receive anything you order right away. They also ship whenever they receive stock, so your order comes piecemeal. I have requested to ship when all items are available, but they continue to ship as they come. Also, avoid buying items on pre-order during their sales since they'll ship one at a time when released, and the ship costs will negate the sales savings.
Mid-high range prices, selection wide but mostly limited to DVDs and manga.
Site is decent to navigate, but "Continue shopping" button is a pain since it always takes you back to the main item menu, rather than taking you back to the last search or subcategory (or giving options where you want to go); so if you're trying to queue five volumes of a series, you'll be searching and navigating back to that list five times. Also, their cart seems prone to losing contents, so you're stuck adding everything back again (a pain with lots of items). Nice feature that notifies you if you try to order something you ordered before (giving you order#, date of order, and ship status).
Automated notifications of status and shipping are routine, and online order status check is easy to access. Items are shipped very securely.
I do intend to keep purchasing during their sales, since I still think those are worth the negatives."

"Have never had an issue with this company ordering a variety of merchandise multiple times since 2001. Latest purchase was a pre-order for an import figure, which was just sent to me in great shape. Sent frequent emails to update on status; especially since import figure release dates are never set in stone and this figure was no exception. Prices are reasonable, but not the best; merchandise selection is decent. Would consider ordering from them again, although they are not my first choice for anime/manga goods."

"Comprehensive and excellent selection of goods, good presentation of info/products, friendly and easy to reach staff, very competitive prices. Have had a few transactions, all pleasant with no complaints at all, from order process, questions answered, delivery time, and packaging. Only issue is that search engine is a bit too inclusive, but this is minor."

"I placed a 1st order on 10/9/03 for 2 figures. Only one arrived 10/14 but was broken. I sent it back for a replacement. The 2nd AND 3rd replacements were also broken (different places). I realize things CAN get broken in transit but THREE times?? I gave up after that. I receive a lot of figures/items by mail and this has never happened. They refunded return shipping for one of the two shipments.
I emailed about the missing one 10/14 and was told by Alex Le that it would ship in 1 week. Emailed again 11/8 and was told 11/14 they may get stock in 1-2 wks. No word at all from them 11/14-1/3, when I emailed and asked that the second order be cancelled; refund was given quickly enough.
I will never purchase from them again."
