"I made a purchase nearly six weeks past, which was cancelled by State Line Tack two days ago. No communication in the intervening time, with the exception of two requests, from their third party survey site, for me to review a product I had NOT RECEIVED. The cancellation stated that the item I ordered is no longer carried - a fact that is either demonstrably false, as the product is still advertised on the site, or true and their advertisement of having this item blatent in its dishonesty. At the end of the day, I can buy this item somewhere else, for a price slightly higher than that claimed by SLT, and be guaranteed of receiving the item in a sensible time window - an experience far superior to saving a couple of dollars by gambling on ever-receiving the product, as I now understand an order to State Line Tack to be.
Noteably: In their customer satisfaction survey, there is a follow-up question asking about the "primary topic" of my comments. That the the first option under this question is 'backorders/out of stock' tells me everything I need to know about how this company operates."
