"I ordered some PC mod parts that I couldn't find in any other store. Xoxide's selection is certainly impressive! I ordered the products and everything was promptly processed and shipped. I forgot to add an item to my order, and in contacting them, the item was added and processed seamlessly along with the rest of the order. Good customer service! I received everything in great shape, with no problems. The only issue I have with Xoxide is that the prices on some of their products are less than spectacular. Other than that, I was pleased with this shopping experience!"

"Many people have negative things to say about TigerDirect. I myself have ordered from TD years ago and was extremely unpleased with their service. I saw a MicroATX motherboard on sale through TD with a fantastic mail-in-rebate on it, a deal which was too good to miss. Therefore, I took the risk and placed the order. An hour after ordering I realized that the motherboard would not work with the memory chips I was going to use on it. My mistake. Another board they had on sale would work, so I called Tiger Direct and someone picked up immediately (9pm at night... impressive!) I asked him if I could switch the order to that other board. He asked for the model number, updated the order and told me the difference would be placed on my card. The invoice updated immediately, and all of this happened within minutes. I got the motherboard shipped to me quickly and in good shape. I must admit I was shocked at how smoothly the order went. Still waiting on the rebate, I will let you know how that goes. ;) ------- UPDATE: It has been months and I have not received the rebate. I'm attempting to contact Tiger Direct about this. Their website has no means of tracking rebates. USPS shows that the rebate submission was received. My friend bought the same item under the same sales promotion, and he got a rejection card saying he sent in the wrong UPC. There's only one UPC on the box... After talking to others there is clearly a flaw in TD's rebate system... I'll keep this updated as the situation progresses."

"I ordered two glow-in-the-dark cables. Having ordered glow in the dark cables from this reseller before, I assumed they would be the same. Apparently, I was wrong. The two cables sent to me were each different. One of them when exposed to UV Bulbs glows a neon green color, which was the same as the cables I had ordered previously. The second cable was made of a cheaper, dull material that barely reacted to UV, instead only glowing an off-white color. These cables also were missing the pull-tabs for the connectors, which eliminate having to yank on the conductors to detach the cabling. Overall, this was very shoddy construction. Wanting consistency in my case's presentation, I spoke with one of the reseller's managers and described the problem to him. He said to send the cables back, with the receipt and a detailed description of the problems with them. I do not know how much more detailed I could have been. I specifically asked for the cables with the neon green glow material (note that one of the cables sent back HAD said material), not the off-white glowing ones. I also pointed out the lack of pull-tabs. Low and behold, a week later I was sent the cables, with the pull-tabs. However, they BOTH had the horrible, dull white glowing cables that I told them NOT to send me. At this point, I was quite livid. I sent an e-mail to the above manager, again explaining in detail the problem with these cables, and even sending him a picture of the two cables, side by side in comparison. I never received a reply or phone call and now have sitting next to me two cables that are worthless to me. I had shopped with this company before and was impressed by the service I had received. This transaction was like a 180-degree turn. I do not know what is worse; a reseller that sells inconsistent product or one that does not listen to what customers want. I will not be shopping with these folks again."
