"I have nothing but good things to say about these guys.
I placed an order for SageTV 2.0 on their website on 5/20/2004, There was some confusion with my credit card (surprise surprise.. stupid card...) so I completed the order with Paypal. Overall, smooth and slick.
The next day (5/21), it turns out the Credit Card authorizing company had decided to authorize my card afterall, so putting a hold on the funds, which I had already allocated to other purchases in my ultimate HTPC endevor.
Needless to say, I was concerned, so I contacted my bank to get the information I would need to give pcAlchemy.com, and prompty sent an email to them (at ****@****) requsting that the "de-authorization" be done.
Within 30 minutes, a representative from pcAlchemy.com called me at my office, and we discussed the problem, and its eventual resolution. Within 2 hours, everything was back to the way it was.. and I am extatic once again.
The actual ordering process was quick and relatively painless.
For my problem, they were expedient and attentive to my needs and wishes.
A+ guys.. I will definately be buying from you again."

"Well, I purchased a "Compaq Deskpro Desktop Case With 1.44MB Floppy, 200w ATX Power Supply (used Good Condition), No refund".. Now.. a normal person would assume that since it wasnt stated anywhere, that this is a standard ATX or perhaps a mATX case, like many of the Compaqs are. No.. this case is one of the most propritary cases I have ever seen.
The case came in good time, and decent processing time which wasnt too bad. However the item itself was not described well enough. This case is useless to me, as nothing I have will fit in it, without some SERIOUS modification, and even then, only mATX would fit.
One one point, this seller did deliver the case in good time, and their website isnt too horrible to navigate. However, they really need to learn how to describe their parts in more detail. A simple "This is not an ATX case" would have saved me my $20 and my time."

"Once again, Newegg has gone above and beyond, but did have a few bumps on the way! I placed a simple order, Mushkin 512mb PC3200 DDR Ram, and an 8 port 10/100 network switch, however when the box shows up, it only has a network switch in it.. I give them a call to see if perhaps the memory was sent from another warehouse. The woman on the phone said "yes, it was shipped seperately, however I dont see a tracking number for it.. it was 'scanned' today" (keep in mind this was 4 days after my order was placed). The next morning (since this was fairly late in the afternoon when I called) I have a tracking number where they were overnighting my RAM to me!!! :D
I have been so happy with Newegg and their commitment to keeping their customers happy, that I just placed another order with them, and I continue to look forward to their awesome products and perfect customer service."

"Well, I was a little sceptical after seeing some of the reviews on here on dealing with this company. I bought a Yamaha CRW-F1E from this company, and it came in decent time and whatnot. There was an issue with the shipping information from paypal (which i dont quite understand, this isnt a credit card you know, but hey) So the transaction was delayed 2 days or so until the paperwork shuffle could be completed. One thing is, its impossible to get a hold of someone there in a timely manner.. they rarely answer the phone, and when they do, the "pass the buck" game starts.
I say it was a good transaction, but the customer service really has to go up a few notches.
This being said, im trying it again. They now have another drive ive been needing, the Panasonic DVD-RAM/DVD-R/RW "SuperDrive II" So I just placed another order with this company last night, we will see how they do."
