"I purchased a 20euro Neosurf voucher using POLI instant banking as the payment method.
To put this into perspective i used POLI to launch an internet banking session with my bank, entered my 16 digit customer registration number, entered my password and responded to 2 Security questions asked by my bank during the logon process.
i then selected my bank account for the payment and successfully completed the transaction. That however is not sufficient verification for Offgamers so they commence their own process.
After 45 minutes verification by Offgamers still pending.
After 1 hour i get an email saying verification could not be completed and they have issued a refund. Hmmm
The email mentions that verification failed because of my profile data being incomplete They ask me to update my profile
with my first and last name and then advise them via email once done. I do this immediately. It seems that when i registered
with Offgamers the personal data i entered has not correctly transposed into my profile. This is an Offgamers technical fault which btw didnt cause verification to fail on a Visa transaction I did with Offgamers a few days earlier. I guess when your profile has your initial and full surname intact some security folk at Offgamers can manage to use their brains and complete verification
It seems however that the customer gets penalised when Offgamers have a tech fault. Offgamers are not refunding gst or order handling costs. I can expect to wait 30 days before seeing the 20 euro refund.
Cherry on top because i failed verification all online payment options have been permanently removed from my account.
Support sincerely apologised for any inconvenience caused - LOL!

Update - Still waiting for Offgamers to refund my money. They say they have refunded me and yet no money has turned up
in my bank account."
