"Zero times, that’s how many times Home Depot returned a call about my bathroom remodel project. Zero times is how often a contractor showed up to take measurements of my door after several phone calls and failures to follow through. Zero times is how often I got a call to take measurements to replace my flooring. If you and your contractors can be depended upon zero percent of the time to show up, isn’t it considered false advertising to say you offer free in home estimates? Or is this a word game for the wary consumer focused on the offer but not necessarily warranting any follow through?"
Most contractors won’t show up to take measurements, but they’ll call you nonstop.
"Multiple phone calls and emails but few show up to take measurements or provide an actual quote. This service seems like clickbait. Customer service offers an empty apology but does nothing to help."
