"Today I ordered an Imac computer from PowerMax.com I received an email from Gary Mead stating that they could not verify my address, and that I would need to call him to do a quick identity check. The identity check was that I was to fill out their special form, and send them a photocopy of my drivers license and credit card. As a person who shops on the internet on almost a daily basis I find it strange that they are having such difficulty verifying my address. I have never been asked to send photocopies of my identity before, and I am sure that it will only take me a few minutes to find another seller who will be happy to have my business. Regrefully I will not be doing business with PowerMax."

"I ordered a Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset on Monday, August 20, and it was delivered to my door Wednesday, August 22. It is no mistake that Newegg continually outshines the competition. I would advise buyers to forget about paying extra for special rush handling. Nobody gets it to you quicker. By the way, the purchase was for a gift. I already have one; it's a great headset."

"I ordered a wireless headset from this company, but never received the merchandise. The confirmation email said that my credit card would not be charged until the merchandise was shipped, but I was charged immediately. They did not respond to several emails, so I called them. They said that the item was out of stock and was on backorder. They asked me if I wanted a substitution, but I said I wanted an immediate refund. I received an email saying that that I would receive a full refund."
