"I ordered ~ 4500 dollars worth of camera gear. They sent it the same day and it came three business days later. One item was wrong and they promptly paid for the return shipment and replaced it. Much to my chagrin the lens they sent was a bad copy. This was in no way their fault rather it is standard to have to go through a few copies of a Tamron lens to get a good one (at least for this model). The salesman I initially ordered from even warned me this might be the case and to contact him if it was. I did and they are going to exchange it with no hassle.

This store has a very liberal return policy, you pay shipping but that is only reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful and they are very quick. The prices are lower for lenses than the other major camera shops (the reputable ones) and equal on cameras and accesories. They have been a pleasure to work with and I will do ALL of my photographic shopping through them. A+++++

My only gripe and it is minor is the website.
They should have someone re-write the script on the lenses so that you can sort by type of lens (wide, zoom, macro, etc) rather than price alone.
I find B&H to be much more convenient in this regard. Since I plan on only buying from 17th thought it isn't a huge gripe."

These people have SUPERHUMAN shipping speed. I ordered super saver shipping on the morning of the 13th. It arrived the early afternoon of the 15th! This is the second time I have gotten this kind of service. They must process the order the minute they get it. Which is how I wish it was everywhere (instead of waiting "a couple 'a days" in the case of Adorama).

Also:

Buy from 17th Street instead of the others because you won't have the terror of dealing with Adorama's nightmare customer service or the return policy problems of Focus.

A digicam microphone arrived a day early, without problems. Also, they had the lowest price on the item of any seller on the internet or in the real world. A full fifty dollars below some, and seventy dollars below Best Buy on a $200 retail item.
