"Please see below Ashley's return policy. There is no 15% restock fee associated with any of their returns. Additionally, the items on my order were never in stock to begin with, resulting in a fraudulent restock charge of $444.87. Logically, since I did not receive any items from my order and the order was canceled well in advance, with the proposed new receiving date of 24 Jan 2024, there is no restocking of my items. The fraudulent statements that Ashley Charges a restock fee have been reported to the Better Business Bureau.
First, this item was falsely advertised as being in stock; second, these items have been pushed back from their original delivery date of 30 Nov 2023 to 24 Jan 2024; and third, for the physical pain that I had experienced from eating on the floor. My order was placed on 03 November 2023, when the item was advertised in stock. This false advertisement has caused difficulties in trying to enjoy the holidays where my family and I had to have Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year on the floor of our house. As a 100% disabled veteran, I have been taken advantage of in this whole ordering process.
Ashley Furniture's Return Requirements In order to receive the full amount of the refund described in this Return Policy, all item(s)must be: (1) in new/unused condition and (2) returned with all accessories and parts securely packed in all original packaging (unless the packing was removed as a part of the In-Home Delivery, in which case please re-pack in a manner to prevent damage during return shipping). Clearance Items are final sale items and cannot be returned unless they are delivered damaged."
