"The service provided was excellent. Tracking was provided with shipment and was easy to follow. Item received just as scheduled."
"Delivered what I ordered, and delivered in time frame promised. Easy to use website and checkout."
"Prices were good. The online ordering was easy to follow, Fast delivery! Items were securely package. I would recommend 42nd Street Photo to everyone."
"Product came as expected. Price was well below competitors. Advice: Know what you want and call their customer service frequently after you order online. My order came 1 day late due to a processing delay they made. To avoid such delays, you must call them to confirm your order after it has been processed (processing time will be shown at checkout). "
"Michael is very polite! They have a good customer service.. He apologized for the manager, gave me expedite shipment, plus a free case to make me happy. He is good. Very likely to come back to buy again!

"Very good shopping experience."
"I ordered a Canon T4i over the phone since I had other questions regarding battery that came with the camera body. Extremely satisfied with customer service. Shipping was free and I received the camera in 5 business days via UPS. Their price was lower compared to Amazon and other reputable stores."
"Well, I really wanted a Fuji x100 and have been pricing them for quite some time. I just happened to come across 42nd Street Photo through the Sears Store and 42nd Street Photo had the best price. I was hesitant to order but gave it a try. I have not been disappointed. The camera came in a reasonable time and so far so good. Yes I would highly recommend 42nd Street Photo. "
"Not at all satisified. I purchased a Nikon D800 from their site yesterday at $3149 along with a 3-year warranty at $299.99. Their website has a banner which states "Promotion of the week: Purchase A 3 Year Warranty, Free Upgrade To A 5 Year." Today I received a call from Jack at 42nd Street Photo. He wanted to give me a big sales pitch about special lenses and memory cards (even though I know more about the Nikon D800 than he will learn in his lifetime, I let him rattle on). I had been forwarned by our office girl that Jack had called when I was on another line to discuss a problem with the extended warranty, so I was not interested about hearing his sales pitch when he called back. So after Jack rambled about how special the camera is and how I need special lenses I asked him what prompted the call. He told me I could not use the warranty code which was entered on our order for the extended warranty. I referred him to their statement on their own website. He said the two-year warranty extension only applied to the $599.99 warranty. I told him they were pulling a classic bait and switch on the warranty and that I was not interested in anything he had to tell me about lenses and memory cards. I told him to cancel the order. During our conversation he went on and on about how every dealer in the country was sold out of the Nikon D800 in an effort to create fear and doubt. When I told him he could make this particular camera available to all the people who were lined up to buy it he said I was making a mistake. I said cancel the order, to which he replied that it would take 3-5 weeks for Pay-Pal to issue a refund (even though the Pay-Pal charge had not gone through at that time). Later he talked to our office girl and said he would need to put the charge through in order to then issue a refund through Pay-Pal (which makes no sense). If Pay-Pal doesn't credit the money back to our charge card within 24 hours, we will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office in New York and notifying Nikon USA that they have a dealer operating in a very questionable manner.
Update (8-22-2012):
Over the past couple of weeks I have received numerous e-mails and phone calls at work and on my cell phone from Jonathan, Sales & Marketing Executive MGR at 42nd Street Photo. He has called my cell phone and our office phone on at least 12 occasions. He has offered me free products and extended warranties on the Nikon D800 that I wound up buying from another dealer. Two weeks ago I received a free camera strap from Jonathan for which he asked me to give him a 5-star rating on this website. As I explained to him on the phone today, we cannot undo what transpired. I cannot be pacified with free merchandise. When I told him I could not give him a 5-star rating today, he became somewhat obnoxious. About 5 minutes later, Jonathan called the owner of our company on his personal cell phone to complain... and that was the straw that broke the camel's back. I will not be coerced or intimidated by anyone, especially an on-line merchant that I offered to give $3,149 of my hard-earned money to. The purchase I wanted to make was for myself and does not involve the company I work for. Jonathan stepped way beyond the code of ethics in calling my employer. Should any further calls be made to my cell phone, our office phone or the personal cell phone of the business owner here, I will file a complaint with the Attorney General's office in New York and look into filing a civil action against 42nd Street Photo. I am not the one who created this issue and I WILL NOT be harassed into giving anyone a 5-star rating for deceptive bait-and-switch sales practices.

"I got a great deal on a Sony Cybershot camera. I read some negative reviews about 42nd after I bought it (but before I received it), which made me second-guess my decision; however, the transaction went smoothly and I received the factory-sealed camera on the early-side of the delivery estimate (7 days). I did receive a follow up call in which a salesman tried to sell me a spare battery and SD card, but I simply declined, saying I was strapped for cash, and that was the end of it. I'd buy from them again."
"Perfect transaction. Was the cheapest online store with positive ratings. Immediate shipping. Would definitely order from again."
"My expectations were meet."

"Excellent service. Good pricing with prompt communication and shipping. Will definitely do business again."
