"These guys advertise cheap camera prices - but you'd better buy something else. After declining an upgrade on a battery for the Fujifilm x10 (he told me the standard battery only has a max life of 30min - obviously not true) he told me my card had been declined - also not true, i immediately contacted my bank and they said they had not declined anything. I then ordered the same camera at a higher price from bestbuy and the order processed without any problems.

I actually own this camera - this one was for my sister back home in Australia - and the battery life, while not the best i've had, is at least 2 hours of moderate shooting. Not 30 minutes.

I'm leaving for Oz on saturday and this has really put me out. Not worth it. I'd recommend paying extra and going with a legitimate seller.

In the end I ended up with the camera that I wanted, for the price I was willing to pay.There were several bumps in the road with my order, but I received a call from Jonathan Davis, who straightened things out, and threw in some goodies for my trouble. My advice to 42nd Street is to fire the guys who upsale, and I think everyone would be happy. My review reflects a balance of the good, and not so good. I know the store would love a 5* review, but maybe next time.

"I just purchased a camera from them online. They called to add on an extra battery to the order - which was not needed - the camera comes with a rechargeable battery. They charged me an extra $80 for a camera battery. I called to cancel the order for the extra battery just a few hours later and they told me that it already shipped out and refused to change the order.
