"The charger they shipped looked nothing like the one pictured on ebay, and the warrantys between what was advertised vs what I got was 4 years difference. They stated the item pictured was no longer stocked and that I recieved a replacement model. I requested a refund .... they supplied a RMA.
I got an email a week later saying item has been recieved & they are processing refund. A little more than a week later the refund still had not been issued. I called, they said they have been closed for a couple days & should process the refund soon.
Long story short, nearly 45 days since paypal transaction & I just filed a complaint with paypal & my CC company in a " nick of time " ( 45 days ).
4 days later ( today ) and the seller still has not responded to paypal regarding my complaint."
"I ordered a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC SLD ELD Aspherical Macro Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras on 2/4/07, the wrong lens was delivered on 2/13/07. I sent that lens back the next day. I got the correct lens on 3/22/07, but this one had a huge speck of dust. Sent this lens back for what I thought was an exchange. It looks like they did a half assed job of cleaning it. Oh, I got the STILL DUSTY lens on 4/19/07. I will never deal with 47th St again. This time I'm going to have my own camera technician take care of my lens like I should have in the first place.
There was one good thing about this situation though. I got my money's worth out of the outrageous shipping cost since they covered all further shipping."
"This store Service is very good. First Sigma 100-300 F4 lens I order, was front focusing, so I send it back, they promptly send return label and as soon as they receive the lens shipped new one and I received in time for my trip.

"I ordered a sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens from them. The price was amazing, a full 30 dollars cheaper than Amazon, however, i placed the order on January second, got expedited processing for 3.99, and purchased 2-day select shipping. However, after 2 or 3 days of not receiving any type of shipment info I called them and they said they did not receive payment until the 9th. (now how in the hell did my credit card take 7 days to pay them??).... then Janet told me to rest assured that my item was shipped. Well, it might have been shipped but it was definitely not 2nd day. Today is the 17th and i finally received my lens. However, they sent me the wrong lens. So, not only could they not send me the order on time, they could not even send me the correct lens. This store is filled with the most incompetent people ever working at an online retailer. When i was asked if i would like to exchange the lens for the correct one I refused because I felt like less of a person if they kept my money. So, i'm paying the extra 30 bucks and buying it from amazon...

"I agree with the other reviewers that while this store may be good if you physically go to it, it does not know how to operate online.
I ordered an item on the morning of 12/18/2006 (monday) and paid $2.99 to have it rush processed, so it would ship that afternoon. The next day (tuesday), the order still shows as "in process" and I've received no shipping info. I called them & they assure me it would be shipped that afternoon. Wednesday rolls around, call them again, they say the same thing. The item finally is actually shipped on Wednesday (2 days late) and arrives thursday.
Outstanding problems:
1) To this day (3 weeks later), their website still says my order is "in process".
2) From the time I ordered until now, any emails to their customer support address get returned with a user does not exist error.
3) They were supposed to automatically refund the $2.99 rush fee if it was not shipped the same day. I had to call them (since email bounces) and request this. I shouldn't have to do that."
"Received a defective item, called to get an exchange and was told item was not in stock so I will be issued a refund. I asked them specifically "Will I be charged a restocking fee" and was told "No. since we do not have an exchange item in stock".
So I purchased the same lens from another store.
Got an email today of refund status and they charged me 8% restocking fee! Called them and was told "We have to charge you a restocking fee because we NOW have the item in stock". Unbelievable frauds. Stay far far away!"

Finally I was told my order was canceled because the item wasn't in stock. If I did not call, I am not sure how long would it be possible for them to inform me. Horrible experience ever. "I've ordered from them twice, both times the original order was filled quickly and without a problem, but my return/exchange was handled abysmally. I had to call and call and call about the status, they never initiated any communication with me while they held my $956 hostage. Though their site said the lens I was exchanging for was in stock and every time I called they said it would be processed and shipped "today," I finally got the impression that I was being held in limbo while they hoped to get a shipment with the lens I was requesting. After calling them several times over a two week period, they finally told me the lens was suddenly out of stock. Hmmm. They did promptly refund the money once they admitted they didn't have the lens, but I didn't appreciate being strung along like I was. I will try out all the other possibilities before I buy from them again although I guess I wouldn't say I'd NEVER order from them. "

"The wrong item was shipped by 47th Street. A $339 lens was returned with RMA number provided by 47th Street and a refund was requested. Instead, 47th Street sent a $12 T-Mount Adapter. Over the next three weeks, I made numerous phone calls to 47th Street and each time customer service promised they would resolve the matter but did nothing. Eventually I filed a claim with my credit card company.
I will never buy anything from them again.
