"I ordered a set of KC HiLites for my son's car as a Christmas present. The order was place on 11/20/11. I finally reached a customer rep today after being on hold for 30 min. only to have him tell me that the item was back backordered and that it would be in the b/o status for several months. I said ok and I'd like to cancel the order. I was immediately hung up on and now am back in "On hold hell". Don't use this company to puchase anything as they are scammers!"

"ordered a set of ITP tires and wheels. Albert said no problem they were in stock and would ship next day from Ohio warehouse. I get a confirmation e-mail it has wrong name, address, items but correct phone number and e-mail address. I sent e-mail and got no response. I called Matt and he says those tires and wheels are not even available. But they did not charge my card. Real big of them. "

I purchased the daystar leveling kit for my 06 tundra. It's advertised as having the bump stops and shock boots included. They even have a picture of the kit.
They werent included and they say they werent supposed to be.
I've sent a number of emails, no response since I said I would take it as a loss and tell all my friends not to order from these people. Apparently they don't care from all of the negative reviews here. Better Buisness Bureau? Unfortunately they'll keep stealing money from people until someone does something. "
"I placed an order with 4wheelonline on 9/2/2011 for Smittybilt Fender Flares (SMTTY-76837). The person on the phone let me know the item would not be ordered/shipped until after the holiday weekend (9/6/2011) since I placed the order late in the day on Friday. I later read all the reviews here and became a bit concerned. No worries. My fenders arrived on the morning of 9/12/2011. Not bad. They were perfect. Just what I ordered. No issues. I installed them after work just in time for the sunlight to disappear. The Wrangler looks great. I am very happy with my transaction."
"I placed an order with this company on 08-26-11 and called to make sure I would have the item by 09-08-11. After being on hold for ten minutes or so, I spoke with someone that told me the order would arrive by 09-08-11. I never got the tracking number from when the order shipped. I even filled out the request online for the tracking number. I called back on 09-01-11 and was told the order had shipped on that day after being on hold for a long time again. Both times I have called I have had excessive hold times. I called back on 09-06-11 and was on hold again over five minutes before someone spoke with me. I asked for the tracking number again and was placed on hold while they called the warehouse to get it. After being on hold close to another five minutes, the person came back on the line and asked for my phone # and name to call me back with the tracking number. Within 15 minutes or so I was called back and given the tracking number. The information that I was given by the people at 4wheel online was correct about it shipping on 09-01-11 and the delivery date was today being 09-06-11 which is what I was told the day I placed the order. Providing that my order is correct I have no complaints other than in the customer service area. I will follow up once I see if the order is correct. If I would have received a tracking number I would not have called the second and third time. Reading these reviews after the order was placed and getting no tracking number was very unnerving. It appears to me though that 4Wheel Online is a business ran from someones home. I'm thinking that they are saving on shipping cost by batching the orders. Once they get enough orders to one particular warehouse to get free shipping then they place one order for everything. This would explain some of the long waits that some customers are having.
Just got my order and it's exactly what I ordered. It only took 10 days from the time I ordered it to arrive, three of which were weekend and holiday days. As I said before I have no complaints except for no tracking info and looooong wait time on the phone. If you pay for your cell phone minutes don't use your cell phone to call. "

wtf! Everytime I send a request for my tracking number they add another 30 days to the "backorder" I understood at first- backorders happen, but now it's getting rediculous.
Don't let the lower prices fool you, it's worth paying the extra cash at any other retailer to have the guarentee that you'll see that product within a timely manner!"

I ordered my Hypertech Programmer on Friday August 5th received a phone call to straighten out a address issue with my credit card had a tracking number on Wednesday August 10th and received y programmer on Friday the 12th. I could not be happier with the customer service that I received.
I had originally planned to have the programmer sent to my in-laws house because they are retired and would be there to sign. They have a wonderful policy that requires you to have the shipping address added to the credit card companies file or they won't ship. This is a wonderful company policy to keep people form using stolen card information. I wish all companies would require this.

"Who would think to review a company before they purchase something? I myself like to think most companies hold some kind of standards. NOT 4 WHEEL ONLINE! i recently decided to make a few upgrades to my new jeep wrangler. like most people reading this you searched around for the best price and the cheapest shipping, i found 4 wheel online provided both. i ordered by phone bumpers, tires, and a lift kit, i was happy! i never received any tracking numbers after a week. but i did get my tires and bumpers. that not bad i thought, but i really need the lift first so i can get to work. so i called them up and requested a tracking number. it took them about a half an hour to tell me that my lift was on its way but for one reason or another they couldn't get a tracking number. the salesmen Travis asked me to call back the next day for it. i did and i called the next and the next day, same story! finally on a thursday about two and a half weeks after placing my order i made it clear i needed a tracking number, another 30 min hold for them to tell me "I'm going to be honest with you....your item didn't ship out yet" I was furious but keeping my cool i just asked them to refund me my money, because they lied to me and never shipped the item. they said they canceled my order but i wanted to be on the safe side so i called them back about two hours later to confirm my order was canceled, Travis said it was so i called 4wd hardware and ordered the same lift i didn't receive from 4 wheel online. i remind you this all took place on a thursday, come the following monday i get a email the first email ever from 4 wheel online, denying my cancelation request and the tracking number for my lift kit. now I'm outraged again. i call and ask for a supervisor this time. after waiting and waiting i get a supervisor. not the best help, really showed no concern for what I've been through with them and really no interest to help with the one i was currently calling about. he basically told me i shouldn't have order a lift from someone else if i had already placed on with them. i agree! but they never shipped me my lift kit and they sent it out two days after i canceled my order. the supervisor said i had to fill out a return form online and return the lift when i receive it. at this point what am i going to do? i go online start filling out the form, then i start reading the return policy. if i would return it they will charge me a 25% restocking fee plus ALL shipping charges. I called the supervisor back and demanded that they return these items at a full refund. the supervisor told me that if i didn't want to pay their fees i would be better off just keeping the lift. so now i have two lifts that i can't return, i mean i could return the lift from 4wd hardware without all the fees, other than shipping. but i just can't give in to them folks from 4wheel online. My mission is to make them take it back at a full refund. Wish me luck after reading up on this company I'm going to need it."
"Wow, If I only saw this First, WARNING They don't show pictures of actual products you get! So after it takes over 60 days to recieve your item, its wrong... then they will charge you 25% restocking fee and Hidden Shipping Charges....And say they shiiped you what you ordered...BEWARE!!! Then after having my return for 3 weeks I had to call again to attempt to get my credit... Calling has never been under 5 minute wait to pick up the phone either.... Terrible Experience... NEVER Ever would do business again, and I am very laid back person..."
