"I had a wonderful experience with this company. I ordered a Keen bag, saved a FORTUNE in the process, and it was shipped the same day, arriving two days later. All that for free shipping! The bag is perfect, too! I will be happy to order from this company again."

"I would not order any designer items sold by 6pm in the future. I ordered what was supposed to be a Versace Jeans shirt. Its label said "Made in Rumania." The shirt was also missing a certilogo number on its tag. For those of you who don't know, each Versace Jeans product' tag features a 12-digit code that ensures its authenticity. Last but not least, the shirt's size was way off. It was supposed to be XL. I had 3 different guys try it on. Two of them wear L and the third one XL. It did not fit either one of them. I am not stuck having to pay for return shipping. Ridiculous! 6pm should not advertise counterfeit products! I've purchased authentic Versace products and this shirt was definitely a fake one."

"Guys you all should lay off of this company. I ordered two pair of shoes to go on vacation. I misjudged the sizes and ordered them too large and contacted customer service in which they walked me through the process of returning. I returned them and ordered the right sizes and within days my shoes arrived by UPS. Also, the full amount was returned to my account. I will definitely be ordering from 6pm.com again. On my way to Disneyland again in three months need more deals...."

"I ordered a pair of Zoot running shoes June 9th, 2013. I received these shoes June 11th, 2013. I was so surprised to see only 2 stars out of 5 listed on Reseller Ratings.
OMG these shoes are fantastic. I ordered the women's Ultra Tempo 5 Running Shoe and this pair fits perfectly. They are comfortable, light weight and provide the support I need. Thank 6pm.com, I am absolutely sold on your shoes and have recommended you to several others already. They are amazed with these high quality shoes and equally amazed by the price!

"I have ordered several times from 6 pm and have not had any problems. I have had to return more than once and had to pay return postage, but refund was always credited promptly. I just ordered another pair of shoes from them with the knowledge that they may not fit, but if they do I've saved $34. I'm willing to take that chance."

"I bought a pair of canvas boat shoes through 6PM brand Mia Low Tide, They didn't fit well - cost total $21.89 - but taking them to postoffice to return was going to be over $9.00 reg mail - almost 50% of what I paid. No free return shipping. You're better off to buy at ZAPPOS or even Macy's where you can return. I would never order anything from 6PM again. Bev"

"Think before your order from 6pm.com. If you aren't absolutely sure the shoe/clothing fits, you will end up paying just to try it on. They do not cover return shipping charges and you must return in the same box so you can't even pare it down for a more economical shipping cost. Check with Zappos or Amazon for the same items, returns are free. Will not order anything else from this company after paying $7.50 to try on a pair of sandals."

"I bought a pair of shoes, they shipped the wrong item. IT WASN'T like "Oh the wrong size", no it was COMPLETELY a different shoe. I emailed them, no response. So I was forced to called customer service, where I had to say a lot of information(perhaps it goes for a lot of companies but I felt like this one was a bit too much) but she did help & was friendly. It seemed like things would go good with returns, they gave me a return shipping label and said they would ship my pair I ordered in the first place.
I ship them back the incorrect pair, wait, and see that they cancelled my order on the pair I did order. Ok fine, whatever I'll get new ones. HOWEVER, they DID NOT refund my payment. It's been over a month since this incident, no refund or ANYTHING from them. The last email they said about the refund/return was 3/26. Today it's 5/1 and nothing.
I would stay away from them, I really wish I did google the company before I bought stuff from 6PM. I'd stay away, but good luck.

"Terrible. Ordered pants size 36x34 and they sent size 38x34 and made me pay shipping back their mistake to get a refund. As a long time Zappos customer I guess the only thing I can do is to boycott both companies."

"If you order large orders will find that nearly half the items will be defective! It is truly a hit or miss with this company. It sucks to get the last of an item and love the style and the fit but its covered in spots, scratches or it has a broken zipper! I found this site after realizing that all these items come from the Zappos web site. I used to shop at Zappos until my bank account was taking a hit by the high prices. I think that maybe the items that are offered at 6pm are the returns and rejects from Zappos. Some times you may get lucky and find a keeper but that is far is far and few between. Yes 6pm has lower prices than Zappos but they are still pricey. You must pay for you own returns too. They do not price match even if the item goes on sale within 24 hours. You will sit on hold for no less than 10 minutes until you get a live person and then you will be placed on hold for another 5-10minutes depending on the issue. When you send something back you need to pay special attention to your account to make sure that the original form of payment and price is refunded or they will try to give you a "store credit". You need to check your credit card statement as well! Just because it states it has been refunded on your account does not mean that it really was! They do not do exchanges. Make sure you get tracking confo for all items you return! BOTTOM LINE...Unless you like to gamble...steer clear. If you don't mind all of whats listed...then shop on!"

"I ordered a new pair of shoes from 6PM.com last night at 9:45 PM PST/PDT. On reviewing the order, I realized that I had mistakenly purchased the shoes in size 10.5 UK rather than size 10.5 US. I returned to the site to cancel the order. After thoroughly searching the site, I was not able to find a straightforward mechanism for canceling; instead, the FAQ stated that I should contact their Customer Loyalty Team via the site's Contact link.

I sent them a message detailing my mistake and requesting an order cancellation. The message went through at roughly 10:50 PM. In return, I received an email response providing a ticket number and the following slightly-worrying text:

"Due to some unusually high email volume at this time, our response will take longer than normal, but please rest assured that we're doing everything we can to get to your inquiry as soon as possible in the order that it was received."

The following morning (~10 AM), I called to follow up on my request. I was told that the order had already gone to the warehouse for processing, and that a cancellation was now impossible. Surprised, I pressed for details; the customer service representative instead provided decidedly-vague instructions for returning the package once it arrived. Note that the package was still in their warehouse at this point - they just refused not to ship it.

I took to both Twitter and Facebook and outlined my case again, hoping for a more useful response. I was able to engage with them on Twitter, but was told the same thing: they were not able to stop an order once the warehouse had received it. It occurred to me at this point that this was incredibly strange - were they saying that they were unable to communicate with their own warehouse? Again, I pressed for details. They offered to continue the conversation on Facebook, presumably to keep it private. The last message I received from them read as follows:

"Thanks, [name]! We'll be in touch shortly! :)"

That was well over three hours ago. In the interim, I've received an email stating that the package - which I've now tried to cancel via four different means of communication - has been shipped. I cannot remember the last time I had a more frustrating experience with an online retailer. Perhaps never.

In summary, this business clearly has some serious infrastructural issues. Until they streamline their services to address common issues like these, they should not be trusted.

"Ordered a jacket from them, received a different jacket. Exchanged 3 or 4 emails with them before they understood that they need to send me the right item. Did receive the right item a couple of days ago. Now they're asking me to send the wrong one to them. Which I don't mind. But because *they* messed up the order, made me wait for the right item and argue with them over it, and want *me* to act as their shipping boy, I feel like they should at least compensate me with a discount on a future order. So far they're not budging. But this company is famous for messing up people's orders and then, most of the time, making their customers pay for return shipping of the items they didn't order. I'm holding my ground here, but if you want a smooth shopping experience, avoid this company."

"I will NEVER order from 6pm again! I have ordered 3 pairs of shoes from 6pm. One pair I ordered at 64.99 and 3 days later they went on sale on 6pm for 46.99. I emailed and asked 6pm if they would price match for me please, meaning refund the difference since the sale was not only within 30 days but within a week of my order. They absolutely will not refund. They said I could ship the shoes back at my expense for a refund. Given shipping costs (including tracking#), gas mileage, and time that pretty much negates any benefit I would receive... will NEVER ORDER FROM AGAIN!"

"As a rather poor college student, I'm always up for good deals. I found a pair of Vibram FiveFingers on 6pm.com for $39.99, which happens to be 60% off the normal price. After researching the legitimacy of the company, I was a little concerned, but I bought them anyway because I knew I would never find a better deal. I purchased them early in the morning on Tuesday, and I they were sitting on my front porch on Thursday by 3pm. I was shocked because I had been told it would be 5 - 10 business days! They came so quickly I hadn't even had time to order my socks!! I could not be happier with the company!!"
