"ABS offered good options & high quality components. I was able to get exactly the configuration the options I would have chosen if I were going buy parts & build the computer myself build. I’ve had lots of computers – I don’t need a package with monitor, printer, keyboard, mouse, software, etc. (The customized configuration did come with some things I don’t need, but they didn’t increase the price.) The big difference: the ABS price was lower than the cost I would have had to pay for parts & I didn’t have to do any trouble shooting. It arrived with no dings & worked right out of the box. I haven’t needed tech. support. My wife liked the notebook that was included to organize the documentation & software.

I’ll give ABS 9.5 out of 10 for price. It does help to check the web site – some weekends they offered free shipping & reduced price. There were some lower some prices on computers with the same processor & speed, but no better value considering the other components & reviews. I have purchased all my computers except the 1st over the Internet; I will definitely re-purchase from ABS.

"The computer (Ultimate M1; ABS 3200+) is a Photoshop screamer and the price couldn't be touched with a ten foot pole for the same config by Alienware or Falcon.

The inside of the case is CLEAN and the outside's pretty cool looking too.

The website configurator is the most customizeable I've seen, especially for upper echelon models.

And everyone I've dealt with has been polite, fair and knowledgeable (and I'm a customer who requires TLC with all my questions and special needs). My nephew's also sold on them.

There has, though, been a problem with the machine - very subtle and unusual, but a real concern nonetheless. The Microsoft.com database was no help, but ABS tech support has been there for me to date; and I think (pray) the problem's fully resolved after they helped me download a diagnostic utility from Seagate relating the dual 160 RAID array.

A transparent side panel that was out of stock for the Cooler Master case is still supposed to be shipped, but I've been assured that all is well in this regard and that I should have it in two weeks. If I encounter a problem on this matter, I shall duly complain about it in this space.

"I purchased a customized Awesome 3500 from ABS. They have quality components in their machines and I got a more powerful computer than I could have from Dell, HP, Gateway, or Sony and the best part is, it cost less and I didn't have to sacrifice quality or CS. Everything ran great right from the box. The machine came with a very useful PC Organizer with all the software relevant to my system and information about said software. I immediately began benchmarking the system with graphically intense games like Quake 3 and it held up better than I could have expected. I have yet to have any problems with this machine. It has a very efficient cooling system which, unfortunately can lead to a bit-o-noise, but since I have my computer in the living room it is not a problem at all as I never even notice the noise, what with the tv on, and all. The only time I can see this being a problem is if you have your computer in your bedroom where you sleep, and to that I say...WHY?
I had a very satisfactory experience with ABS and rest assured everyone in my family and all myfriends will defenitely be recommended to them. To those reading these reviews, I say, what are you waiting for? go get an ABS pc, you'll not be dissapointed. "

"Extremely high quality product for very reasonable price. Worked perfect right out of the box. I want to begin by saying I've seen a lot of PC's over the past 20 or so years - owned quite a few and built a few. In the past, the majority of my purchases were from Dell. Based upon my experience with ABS my Dell days are over!
The ABS sales staff was professional and well versed in their product line - clearly a cut above Dell - and ABS customer support was also exceptional. I have not had need to use ABS's technical support so I'm not in a position to rate their service.
The assembly of the ABS product is nothing short of a work of art. In truth, I have never seen an assembly that could begin to compare with ABS's. Everything is perfectly positioned - wires and cables are cleanly routed and secured - nothing crosses, nothing droops and nothing dangles. It is sincerely the cleanest assembly of a PC I've ever seen and what I ordered should have been cluttered!
Finally, ABS components and options are all high quality, top-of-the-line products. Precisely the selections you'd make for yourself if you were going to engineer the highest quality PC you could build - no corners cut and no substitutions.
