"I ordered a TV through Abes of Maine, AM Home Delivery is the Trucking Company they use. Ordered on 9/22 and I still do NOT have my TV. I live in Richmond, VA. When I called AM they told me that shipments to my area ship from NJ down to Charlotte, NC. The route ALL trucking takes from NJ to Charlotte is down I-95, just a few miles from my house. But, incredibly, it passed right by to transit another 5 hours south. That could still be done quickly and efficiently even with that extra shipping time. Here's how it's really happening:
AM did NOT pick up the shipment until 9/26. The shipment sat in NJ with nothing happening until 10/2, almost 1 week, and shipped to North Carolina. I am now being told that the shipment will NOT ship from NC until 10/9 or 10/10, one week AFTER arriving in NC.
I can't do much more than brace myself for more bad news until I know they are actually on the way here. It's been awful and no on at AM seems to ever know the full story of what's happening.
If you must order from Abe's I strongly urge you to avoid AM trucking if possible."
"Antonio and Carlos were outstanding!!! They were polite, very respectful of my home AND my new furniture!! And they called about a half an hour before delivery and delivered my furniture on time!!!

"Run for the hills. I have never dealt with a company that was more inept in every single way. We purchased 2 different items that were supposed to be shipped through AM Trucking. The first item was a week late. The second item was 2 weeks late. BOTH of those delivery estimates were provided by AM Trucking. We were never notified of a potentially late delivery. In a hilarious bit of irony, on the "delivery estimate" on the AM trucking website, it actually said "Your item should arrive before this date."
We left 2 messages with "supervisors" requesting a phone call. We have yet to receive 1 phone call back. Every time we would call "customer service" we were treated horribly. The customer service agents would interrupt us, they would be rude, they provided NO information on why our stuff was late, etc.
It was an embarrassingly horribly experience. Never ever use them for anything."
"Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Finally received my shipment 4 weeks after AM Home Delivery supposedly received it. We had a scheduled delivery date and time a week earlier, but AM was a no show. No phone call, no email, nothing. I took the afternoon off work to wait for them. I had to call them to find out what was going on and I was told I would be rescheduled a week later. So, I was supposedly "upgraded" to white glove delivery for them not showing up. Ya right, didn't see any white gloves or customer service. The delivery crew left trash all over my entry and then asked for a tip. He said he wouldn't take the trash without one. I told him to leave. Please avoid this company! I can't believe that they stay in business."

"I question most these reviews. My experience is tv non delivery, with 0 phone calls from anyone. I finally call almost 7pm which end delivery window, get told driver 40 min out, it is now 11pm and no communication. Have left message, sent twitter message and email. Their BBB rating F, yelp has some legit reviews, their facebook has evidently deleted all negative, twitter gives good track record of same. Had I received 1 single call today i wouldnt be posting a review everywhere possible and also giving AV forums a heads up if getting freight from here."

I feel you are very fortunate to have employees working for you like this. They give AM Home Delivery a good reputation. "AM Home delivery was contracted to deliver a TV I ordered from a vendor in New Jersey (I live in Texas). The TV arrived in a timely fashion. The delivery man was very friendly. Was in and out with the TV set up in less than 15 minutes. TV packaging and contents arrived in perfect condition. The only (minor) issue was that I was told to expect the TV to be delivered between 2 and 6 PM. However, they called at 12:00 saying they would deliver at 12:15. There was nobody home at 12:15, but the driver stayed in frequent contact to coordinate so I could meet them at the house at 1:30 to sign off on the delivery. So all in all my experience with this company was quite good. I think they are professional and courteous enough to be have a good reputation."
"Lucas and Damien are hard working and very courteous. The only issue we had with A M Trucking is that they were suppose to deliver our appliances between 1 - 5PM. At 4:55pm I called A M Trucking and was told the truck was 48 minutes from my location. The reason they hadn’t called me was that the call request was for 30 minute before they arrived. If I was the driver I would have called and said we’ve been stuck in traffic and won’t get to your location until 5:45pm. Other than that, the delivery was smooth and the men worked well even in the light of my headlights because our storage building doesn’t have electricity."

They arrived on time and carefully unloaded the sofa placing it where I requested. Derrick was polite and professional. Would use them again for shipping!"
