"AVA did an excellent job. Great packaging, extra effort to route the internal cables. Clean and neat. Pricing is much better than the big name "off the shelf" manufacturers and you get to choose the "brand name" components. If you have an idea of what you want, AVA can build it. Their configurator/drop down list is far superior to the big name guys. I spent hours trying to configure a system from the big name guys and couldn't come close to what I could do with AVA in 10 minutes. Their tech auditors quickly picked up an error I made and emailed a solution. Love it! System was delivered and ran out of the box without the usual craplets. They even sent me all the user guides, installation notes, extra screws, motherboard standoffs, cables and other little extras that came with each system component. I'm done buying from the Big Names. "

"I got my laptop by FedEx, today, November 20th after their second drop off attempt. I ordered it on November 6th and it shipped on the November 13. It's the little things that impress you and I was impressed with the packing. I'm pretty sure the packaging could have survived a drop kicked punt to the end zone from the 20 yard line. It was shipped in two thick walled boxes (tight fitting together for puncture resistance) and then airily packed with form fitting end cups that kept the computer from moving. It even included a laptop case (I didn't notice that those came free with the computer...). I had purchased extra ram from an outside source (since it's always cheaper to upgrade your ram, yourself) so I immediately installed it and then I booted it up. The computer booted quickly and almost immediately encountered the registration key screen. Very fast. The registration key didn't work (why can't Microsoft print those letters larger?!?) I contacted avadirect (on my other computer) through their web portal and chatted with Joe. He stayed with me through chat during Microsoft's "product (no)support" line, and two other guys I had to call and deal with. In all, he stayed with me for over an hour. The key now works (no thanks to me) and the machine looks beautiful (my wife is going to be ecstatic!). Thank you AVA Direct for a fabulous computer with incredible support!"

"I checked EVERY other custom PC company out there any NOBODY came close to the options you get with AVADirect. Not only did I get high quality components in exactly the system setup I wanted which was stress tested before it was shipped, I got it all for around 10% over component cost verified on NEWEGG. The cable routing, communication (over 40 messages back and forth during the build along with images to confirm setup and configuration) and quality is amazing. Go to a cookie-cutter company and you will get the cheapest crap they can push off on unsuspecting customers with minimal configuration options. Do some research, cruise the forums, ask for advice and help and you will end up with a high quality system that is exactly what you want at a great price. Oh, and Joe Mundy rocks. Just wanted to give you folks some well-deserved kudos. You have one extremely satisfied customer on your hands. Over the past 18 years I have built a new machine from scratch every 2-3 years. This time I thought I might save myself some trouble ( maybe even money ) and customize a system by an outfit such as yours. I came across AVA Direct during a browsing session, liked the options on your web site and decided to take the plunge.

The unit arrived within 10 business days as promised in perfect condition. I inspected it, connected it and it booted right up. I restored my former Windows 7 Ultimate 6 partition image using Acronis Universal Restore, downloaded and installed all of the most recent drivers for the hardware, activated the OS with the new product key I bought from you and it has been a dream ever since.

I am very impressed with your fan choice and arrangement. The mainboard, CPU and GPU temperatures are perfect. But even better, it is the quietest machine I have ever owned. I also appreciated having the most recent Asustek mainboard BIOS already installed.

And the most amazing part, avoiding the mailing costs involved with the purchase of all of the individual components, had I assembled it myself, I even saved some money!!!!!

The only thing left to say is that you guys are GREAT and I have already begun to refer friends and colleagues
