"My daughter and I have each purchased a fully customized gaming desktop from AVADirect within the past several months.

The salesperson who assisted us both, Kyle, was very knowledgeable, responsive via phone and chat, and made a number of helpful recommendations. He also helped arrange to get me my build sans the GPU that was on back-order (not AVA's fault at all, there's a general component shortage) so that I would not have to rely on an aging PC that was beginning to falter. Given our experience thus far, I trust the card will arrive promptly as soon as availability permits.

Both machines arrived on schedule, as specified, with all accessories included, very well-packaged and free of bloatware. The wiring in mine had been pre-arranged per my request so I could easily install a couple of additional components I had here. It runs cool and quiet, and benchmarks very well even with an older graphics processor.

We had looked at some other custom PC vendors before we decided on AVADirect. I am happy we chose to do business with them, and will recommend them to friends in the future.

ETA: After a significant delay, Kyle contacted me and asked if I would like to swap the GPU I had ordered (which was still on back order) for a higher-end model and pay the difference. I was pleased to be offered the opportunity, and accepted, as there's no telling when another comparable card will be available. I'm impressed AVA was able to get their hands on this one, and it runs beautifully.

As fun and satisfying as it is to build a PC myself, ordering through AVA Direct offers the same thrill of carefully choosing exactly the parts you want without the stress and anxiety of locating and ordering each part individually, assembling, testing them and possibly RMAing anything that isn't working properly. It is more expensive, but in this case I had to revise my price rating upward because the service I have received has proven worth the additional cost."

"AVADirect primarily offers custom-built computers, though all I needed recently was a stock laptop build with no replacements or upgrades. Even still, with my simple, straightforward purchase, I appreciated their attentive service and quick replies. "I needed a fast PC to handle 4k video editing, gaming, small business needs, media, and mining, but with the GPU shortage and COVID, finding parts was a massive issue, until I found AVADirect. I ordered a PC on 5/3/21 and received my custom PC on 7/8/21. The GPU shortage (Not AVADirect’s Fault) caused delays, but the build was exactly what I ordered including a box of the extra cables that came with the parts and stickers that were not needed on this build. The parts were all installed perfectly, and they even took the time to do clean cable management. During the process, I messaged AVADirect for updates, which they provided in a prompt and patient manner. I even ended up adding a 2nd 3080 to my build, which they were able to add on with a simple phone call. This was a massive expense for me, and the first time I’ve had to wait so long on a big purchase, but the calm and patient manner that the staff used to communicate really helped and made it that much better when it did arrive. The website is the best of all the prebuilt PC sites, and even better than most of the parts websites. The upcharges on parts were reasonable, and I found that some of the parts were even cheaper to order through an AVA build than brand new separately from any other site. They had a few great prebuilt options, or in my case, I ended up customizing every single part. The shipping seems expensive until you get it and realize they put the PC box inside another box with a ton of bubble wrap to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. I choose to finance this purchase and was happy to find the rates to be reasonable and easy to use, including making payments online. At every single point of this transaction from building to delivery, AVADirect showed professionalism on a level that seems rare these days. If you are in the need of a new gaming or business PC, choose AVADirect. They are a professional and honest company that worked extremely hard to give me the best PC experience I’ve ever had. "

"This is the 2nd time that I have ordered from AVA, the first time went well no complaints there. The 2nd time around was just this summer during the major supply chain issues going on. Not only did they have open communications with me but even reached out to me to notify me when GPUs were available that weren't the ones that I ordered. "I wanted a custom PC to use as my primary 3D workstation. But I was very unsure of whether or not to go with AVA for the job. On the one hand they are directly recommended by Greyscale Gorilla. But on the other, there are so many 1-star reviews complaining about poor customer service and cancellation fees. But when i compared the prices against other PC builders and even building it myself, AVA by far offered the best price. So I went ahead and pulled the trigger and I am really happy to say that AVA delivered on their end of the deal in every way.

One of their customer service reps reached out to me within a day to get the ball rolling. They were very quick in addressing build incompatibilities. The only one being the CPU cooler needed to be swapped for one of a different size. They also allowed me to upgrade the PSU when I brought up that I was concerned about upgrade potential ie I want to eventually put a second GPU in the system. Once the build was finalized they sent me a quote that included the amendments and we went from there.

The rep told me it would take about 8 weeks to get it fully built and shipped to me. During this time there was not as much communication. I checked periodically on website to see if my order status had updated. I reached out after 2 weeks to check in on their progress. The rep told me they were just waiting to receive the case and the GPU which is an RTX 3090. Given the global GPU shortage I figured this process might take a bit longer than they originally said. However after week 5 my order status updated and it said they were completed with the build. Ultimately my PC showed up at my door almost a week and a half ahead of schedule.

I am beyond thrilled with this computer. I am able to create work twice as detailed As I ever have before and more than twice as fast.

"The PC from AVA Direct was even better than I had hoped it would be. Build quality is basically perfect. Cables managed way better than I could ever have done. It looks incredible and runs even better than it looks. I purchased in the middle of the GPU shortage, mid April, and was not anticipating receiving anything until July at the earliest. And was perfectly fine with that. But working with AVA Direct Customer Support, we made some changes, and I ended up with a much more capable GPU (3080 instead of a 3070) and it arrived the following Sunday. "I came across AVADirect when trying to find a custom builder that could provide an RTX 3080 without going through the immense hassle of having to source one myself. AVADirect's customization options included all the parts I would've chosen to build my machine myself, and I was actually able to justify stepping up on a few parts because I wouldn't have to pay overinflated aftermarket prices for the 3080 alone.
Kyle was fantastic throughout the whole experience. He helped me select the best parts for my goals, kept me informed of supply limitations, and kept me informed of the progress of my order. My PC arrived with a LOT of protective packaging. Not a wooden crate like I've seen from some other companies, but those other companies generally only have a handful of models to account for in their packaging. This was pretty much the best packaging I could expect for a build like this. There was even a custom-formed piece inside the case to keep all components in place.
The performance and silence of my new PC both surpass my expectations! I did have to adjust a couple settings here and there to suit my preferences, but that's me always tweaking my electronics even when not necessary.
Generally, I build my own PCs, but AVADirect would be my go-to if I ever decide to buy an assembled system again in the future, and I recommend them to anyone in the market for full customization with great service and pricing."

"I cannot praise enough AVADirect for the workstation they built for me. I ordered it on April 9, 2021, and received it on May 6. They exceeded my expectations at every step of the process.

I turned to AVADirect after an unpleasant experience with another company. Even after not meeting the four-week estimated delivery, they still would not tell me the status of my order. In the end, I was able to persuade their deceitful representatives to cancel it with a full refund.

The machine arrived three days before the estimated date. I was pleased with how it was packed, all unused parts preserved. Adding to my confidence in the thoroughness of their technical guys, I found on the C-drive a folder with their test reports and a detailed configuration file.

I did not post my experience with the machine until I was convinced it worked flawlessly (which it did). Now I can tell Kyle, Nikki, and their entire team that their build process, support, and resulting product were absolutely great for me. Thank you so much for everything!
